tops from everywhere

A tops post and another free hair from the Hair Fair 2014.
To start with the tops. The white one is a gift for the new Zaara group. The orange/ white top from Anin a Gris come with pants ( not shown). The purple lace top is a new release from FA Creations. You get a hud for many colors. The purple high neck top comes with a hat and a pencil skirt (not shown). The pink top with some flowers is a gift at free bird. Join the group and hit the board. You get at random a color. Just one color for each avatar.
The pants (not free)  are a new release at lagniappe. I saw someone walking in this pants and loved it immediately. This pants also goes well with flats or high heels. Very elegant. You get a hud for more colors.
The fre hair from the Hair Fair 2014 comes with a hud for more colors.

Lakewood Estate

Lakewood Estate is a very beautiful place with a beautiful home. It is just a few days open for public. I wanted make pictures there immediately. It was a good excuse to buy the new dress from Zaara.  Such a gorgeous  dress!
For the freebie lovers i made pictures from a dress from the Be Glam Hunt. Nic is standing in the home as if she is ready to welcome her guests. The dress comes with the bracelets and the ring (not shown are the earrings). The skin is the april groupgift skin from JeSyLiLo ( group join 50ld).

papaya whip

Love this weeks color for the colorchallege very much. It has the strange name papaya whip. Never heard of that before. For me it is a sort of cream, ivory, pearl mix. I think i showed theses color tones very much on the blog, so i couldn't use something old from inventory. And i have this weekend not much time for looking around in sl searching for something new. But ))))) i happened to be on friday in Zaara to check if the free bracelets where still there. And there in the entrance, above the free items, i saw an advertisement board with wooooow this super silky blouse. Immediately i was totally in love with it.
The soft tone of the Romy pencil skirt in nude from Mimikri combines so well. Even the ribbon from the belt of the skirt is exactly fitting with the blouse. It is as if it is made for this blouse. I wanted to wear my pumps from Shiny Things under it, but then remembered these old boots in ivory with lace socks from that shop.
The necklace and earrings are from Primalot. It is from the Finding FabFree Hunt. Didn't saw these on blogs before, so it was a happy surprise finding them on my way to look for something else in the shop. I wear the version with soft colors. There is also a bit harder color tone set in the package. Also very beautiful. Tip: near the desk, look high at the ceiling. Search the "5".

Here the other side to show the sleeve. You see the beauty of mesh clothings, which is a difference in comparison with the sculpts from non-mesh clothings.

First mesh

Hi, remember me? I finally got a new laptop after 2,5 months, a time in where SL has gone through some major changes. I plan too keep blogging, but there is still a lot I have to relearn again. Thankfully Nicandra is keeping the blog up and alive :)



My first mesh outfit! Yep, I've been out of SL for a long long time... I did try on several mesh releases, but I had to get used to the fact that the body is determined by the creator, and sadly I often think the creators have a weird eye to what a healthy body should look like. Or maybe I am the one with the problem, but I did love all of Maitreya's releases. This Audrey dress has just the right kind of curves in the right places.



I added the belt to the dress to get a bit more casual look. It's part of a group gift by Maai, which consists of a complete outfit and shape.



The boots are my new love, they're just perfect beneath either a dress or jeans. Love them.

it is all about green tea

Nic with a cup of green tea arrived at Amatsu Shima teahouse. They dressed her in a kimono for a Japanese tea ceremony. Look how beautiful her hair was done. The tea set with all the attributes, fascinated her. But she preferred to drink her tea on a quiet place on a little water basin.

Later on Nic walked around to show her tea green dotted dress, her cute jacket and the nice surroundings. On the first picture you can see the same jacket but with floral details. Under her jacket she wears her tea green shirt. The long wavy dress is from Zaara. It was from an ICON hunt. But it is available in the shop. But not free.

Back home Nic is again drinking tea? The cute leather box with cups is a gift in the BP* update group.

Zaara and BdN

Some more gifts made me wanna take a pic... This time the Zaara groupgift which is a cropped sweater on top of a shirt with a large loose rolled neck. I think its the perfect combination, just slap some goodfitting jeans on and your ready for almost any occasion.

Second groupgift is by BdN, a version of the yet unreleased Charli II skin. I'm a big fan of Jade Glazners work and so happy with this basic skin. It's one of the few Christmas gift skins that doesn't come with red lips and green eyeshadow.

Guess I'm in a pink mood today

e! Eclectic Apparel and Accessories released a few new items of which I especially like the Desi Sweater dresses. Very nice soft tones and fabrics and a perfect fit. I'm only a bit bummed theres only a sheer version included, because this makes layering a little difficult. See how my pants shine through? But there's leggings included which do look great with the sweater.

Another favorite item of mine is Mother Goose's Hena skin, Mother Goose's has been releasing the most beautiful faces ever, very natural and fresh looking. The eyes even have a little bit of bags beneath them, very real looking. The lips are soft and kissable. Only the body is a bit plain, but the face makes up for that real good.

Casually ubersexy

This outfit started with the hair I bought at Truth, it's a hairstyle I usually wouldnt wear, but I couldnt resist. Its very casually cool and really makes this outfit work. The vest and top are from Luck Inc (previously Shit Luck), a quality store which has a lót of ubersexy clothes. The top is part from one of the tiniest minidresses I've seen on the grid, its a good thing theres no wind in SL...

The brown slacks are my new favourite slacks from Zaara, the fit perfectly. The prims aren't shown on this picture, but they are perfect just as most of what Zaara creates. I pared them with the Posh Leather Boots from PixelMode, who currently had a sale, every item for only 50l! I'm not sure if the sale still is up, but even at full price the items are well worth tping to.
