The SLFO hunt and the Womenstuff hunt are good hunts.But i have troubles to remember from what hunt i got what present. I am getting too old for two big hunts in one month ;)! I have chosen this dress from Glitter in purple to show to you. A present for the Womenstuff hunt. In the shop there is another good dress in golden brown silk from the SLFO Hunt. What to wear with the purple dress, i asked myself,  and today i found the solution. I saw someone walking with these boots from Addams. The color matches perfectly with the dress. You can find the boots upstairs in the main shop. They are a new item in the shop, as i saw at the vendor. Many colors available. Another good match is with the earrings and necklace from Chop Zuey, also a present at  the SLFO hunt. The set has a color hud.

On the market near Nic ( left on the picture) you can see the cider bar set from CHEZ MOI. An autumn market with a cider bar is good when you get thirsty and want warm yourself with a bit alcohol. On the cider bar i placed a tray with wine,cheese and grapes from Zen creations, a 5ld gift at marketplace. The honey made side board is the newest group gift from Zen creations in the main shop. The light strings are from half deer for Fifty Linden Friday. Two sorts are sold, each 50ld. This is the rainbow set. There is also a white light set.

we are not afraid (no tinc por)

We are not afraid is what Nic is showing with her outfit. But the text refers ofcourse to "no tinc por" "we are not afraid" in Catalan. This was scanned by the people of Barcelona after being silent because of the victims from the terroristic attack at La Rambla in Barcelona. It's again terrible what happened.
It is good to see that the people of Barcelona stand for their open and free community and want show that they will live on as before as people in a free city.

Nic in her role-play dress with bone details is also standing for her freedom. She is maybe looking aggressive but her clothes show that she will defend her freedom.

cannabis

No Nic is not a junkie. She just is testing this weed ;). Nic is in South America on a cannabis plantation. She is in the weed shop to buy medical weed. There are legal plantations with cannabis for medical purpose in Chile for  example. The well made shop and weed plants and bags and the weed neon sign are all from 7Mad;Ravens in the gacha machine for the Gacha Garden and also available at marketplace. Rollerskating Nic....  she is trying to find a good balance. Isn't life often like that. I am sure you will recognise this. Let's say... it makes life interesting.. feeling the ups and downs. ;)

see what happens (SLB13 presents)

At the SLB 13 sim Incredible ( in the garden where i took these pictures) you can get this cute windmill birdhouse. And see what happens when you click the bird house. The little birdie catches a worm and goes up and brings the worm to the other bird, after that they sort of "kiss" and the worm bringer goes again down to the grass. Click the sails of the windmill and they will run. The birdhouse is a present for SLB13 from Aphrodite. The dresses are from Decoy for the SL13 birthday. You can find them in the presents at Collabor88. The first one is is in watermelon colors. So i dived in  Nic's inventory for some watermelon accessories. The water melon drinks in holder are from Tentacio (gacha : I love take away). The pink dress i combine with noodle accessories because of the sushi stall behind Nic. The noodles are from Love Soul. The pink shoes are included in the gift from Decoy. The green shoes are from Shey from Nic's inventory.

the shower

The shower from the beach house was a bit dull. With the flower hangers from UnKindness i gave the shower a flower power look. The shower is still open but it gives a more cosy feeling. Nic planned to go diving.

a spring sunday

Because of this beautiful day in rl i wanted make a sunny spring post. The new gift from Kelini with a spring dress is a good one for this purpose. I  combined the dress with purple accessories. The shoes are a new release at Basta! Footwear. The bag ( without cat) is from marketplace ( just 10ld).
At marketplace you also can get the gacha collar necklace from Junbug. I have the silver one and could recolor it. The hair is from the 50% off sale at Clawtooth. Runs till april 11th. The hairclip has a color change hud. The ring is a gift at Zeerys. The shop has sale ( all 60- 70ld all items)because the shop at the rue DAntibes will close and the shop has gifts.

Ooooh i heard this dress is an oldie. There is an orange dress now in the groupgift box ...that one is newer. So strange i got this one yesterday from the same box.. sorry...

Tag! Gatcha and more

Yesterday i did the Tag Gacha, a Halloween-themed mega gacha. You can try your luck there. Tp yourself to The Haunted Mortuary. Take the hud and wear the HUD. At the hud you see spin. Click spin to go to the first shop. In the shop click the vase then click spin again, till you visited all the shops and clicked the vases. You get tricks and treats. In nearly all (trick or treat) are halloween themed presents. Mostly accessories. After "tagging"all the shops you can go to the bonus room to tag some more vases and to the coupon room to collect the rares ( if you got rares). Have luck. Nic shows you the hair accessorie ( with eye), the pumpkin necklace, an orange ribbon, a bouquet, and an apple with worms. Nic has more but if Nic wears all, she is looking like a christmas tree.
The jacket dress is from ::K::, the halloween gift. The jacket comes also with an inner turtleneck sweater, but i wanted to show you the lace bodysuit, a gift from Paris Metro, so Nic wears the jacket without inner. The swan bag is in the october groupgift from Shey. Many colors and more presents in that groupgift.

and i saw her standin' there ( van Luck tutorial )

And I saw her standin' there. And the way she looked, was way beyond compare.Well she looked at me, and I, I could see, That before too long. I'd fall in love. Who will sing this for her?

Today is my van Luck tutorial day. That means a little tutorial for those who (like me) still need find there way through mesh body- and appliers land. And why van Luck you ask yourself? Well i learned some more about mesh and appliers, because i wanted wear the van Luck jumpsuit and a van Luck skin. In trying to wear all, the struggle to find my way started. So learn with me. SL die-hard Fashionista's can skip reading my tutorial ofcourse!!! And don't laught about my noobness hey!!

My struggle to learn:
Bought my Maitreya Lara body.
Weared my Laqroki skin (mostly part of Nic's identity lol)
Bought a Maitreya applier to get the good skin color on the Maitreya body. Click on the applier and all has the right skin color.
Wrote all the sizes of my old head.
Changed the face of the Maitreya shape with the sizes of Nic's old face (i wanted save Nic's identity, what ever that may be, but for me it is her face and eyes and skin lol)
Made the legs from the Maitreya shape as long as Nic's old legs.
I wear my Maitreya body with slink feet and slink hands ( because i like them very much)
Then i weared the Van Luck  Black Jumpsuit Omega and used the included top and bottom applier but nothing happened.
Then i discovered ( thanks to Carla Bastet) that i needed buy an omega system kit for Maitreya (here). Available for Free in-world for Love-N-Lust Designs Group members for a limited time, get it for free while you can.
I weared the system kit.
The system kit checked the newest version. Got the newest version.
Unpacked  and weared the system kit.
Weared the applier from van Luck and the system kit.
Clicked all and yeaaaaaaah. The jumpsuit appeared on the Maitreya body.

Then part 2.
I unpacked the new van Luck Vanesa Latte SKIN
Tried all versions to get the one with the eyebrows for red hair.
Clicked the applier button for the slink feet  and slink hand ...but nothing happens ( nice milk body but still brown hands lol)
Discovered that i needed update my slink hands and feets. PFFFF I thought i had the newest version but no ((
Up to the Slink shop. Clicked the redelivery button to get the internet site. Clicked all the things i have from slink on thatsite to get the updated ones.
Back to the sandbox to unpack all.
Weared the slink hands and feet
Clicked the slink applier from the van Luck skin
And yes also milk feet and hands. Applause!

And when you ask yourself why should i do this all for (like i did! lol).  Well all fits so well and no alpha gaps, all follows the body so perfectly. And with one click on the skin applier all has the good skin color. When you bought all what you need ( and that is a lot i know) and learned all... it is easier in the end and our sl experience will look more and more beautiful.

Weared the groupgift hair from Clawtooth. In the group some were desperately waiting for this hair to become released by Bubbles. But she had computer problems so it took a while.
Added nice eye lashes and gloss.
Bought the weekend sale 50% off necklace at Maxi Gossamer (with hud for many colors). Got the new released shoes from Shey. Thanks MOI!!!! With slink hud for accessories and shoe colors. (You can wear the shoes without the accessories too).

And then i saw her standing there!!!!. Nic desperately needed coffee.

The blue Velvet shop ( Van Luck and Valkeries ) is growing very fast. They have skins, hairs, clothes, kimono's and all sorts of products. This skin has many appliers, brows and make - up options and fits the classic avatar too.
