Nic with her new bag with dog. A chiuaua, so cute. The bag has a color change menu hud. You can give the bag also to friends. So... guys... may be a good idea for Valentine's day to surprise the one you love.
The flowery  jeans is a groupgift from Egoism. Go in the casual part of the shop. There you can find 2 groupgifts. The flowery jeans is for the free Egoisme group members. The other jeans you get when you are in the VIP Egoisme group ( costs 300ld). So be aware you join the right group.
On the square outside is the Valentines groupgift. For the free Egoisme group members. It is a piano with romantic rose and  champagne bottle and rose leafs. Nic went to a romantic place to make a picture of the piano. Thanks to the sweet helper who told me about this gift.

madder lake deep

This weeks color for the 52 weeks of ColorChallenge is madder lake deep. Madder (rubia). Origin: Europe Many different shades of red, traditional dye for wool. The color is more soft then the dress i found for Nic. But i loved this dress so much that although the color is too hard  to be Madder red i couldn't withstand showing it here.

I also want tell you about the shop where i bought it. It is  a new shop for me. Drift is the name. It is always nice to find a new brand.  For the lovers of  free stuff  i can tell you there is a groupgift there too. An apartment pants in crushed velvet pink.
Nic dwelled yesterday on the winter fair. Picked up some nice dollarbies: the recolorable broken necklace, the Christmas cookie jar and the loveletter clutch.
The hair is from Tuty, like the hair in the post before this one.
And i love that fur wrap from Saikin around the arms of Nic. You can get the fur in 3 colors.

And now some more about Madder. In Holland we have a great art designer Claudia Jongstra. She makes beautiful art in textile. Google her name and then choose the google pictures and you can see her works. She is an internationally recognised artist working with natural materials such as wool and silk, utilisiing all natural dyes extracted from plants grown in her own laboratory garden. Plants such as delphinium, red clover and dandelions result in brilliant colours. Beginning with her own flock of Drenthe Heath sheep (a rare Dutch breed) she has been developing the process of felted wools for fourteen years and has turned this once humble product into a contemporary material. In addition to developing fabrics for top fashion houses like John Galliano, Christian Lacroix and Alexander van Slobe, she also takes commission for wall hangings and installations.

on the Frost winter fashion fair 2012

The Winter Fashion Fair 2012 is from december 12th - januari 2nd 2013. I expected there lots of lag because of many visitors, but the opposite was true. It was very quiet there. May be with more attention about it on the blogs, the crowd will grow. Nic enjoyed her shopping there. She got the sweet sweater from Sassy there for free. There are shops from all well-known designers. Some have specials out just for the fair and there are presents.

I also want inform you about the pants. This one is from Redgrave and is liquid mesh. A new phenomena. The team from Redgrave writes this about it:
"At the moment, mesh products mostly come in different sizes. To make them fit perfectly, you may need to try the sizes first and then change your body shape to some degree. But many people don´t want to change their shape for every single piece of clothing they wear. It's not only inconvenient but even more, it changes your unique appearance.Therefore, our development team at REDGRAVE added a great new technique called LIQUID MESH to our products in order to work around that problem. From now on, you only get one size and the associated alpha layers."

"Liquid Mesh adjusts automatically to your body shape. That means no changes to your shape needed!

But we went even further. The mesh also follows certain body shape sliders. That means you can even resize our product with your shape which is not possible with any other mesh up to this point. You can try that by right-clicking your avatar, select "Edit my shape", choose the tab "Legs" and then for e.g. change the slider "Leg muscles".

I thought this is important to know. And i am very enthusiastic about this. In time i learned to handle with mesh and the alpha layers quit well. But sometimes with all efforts you still can have see through parts around some clothings. Breasts i changed and changed to fit as best as possible, but it would be much better when we need not do that all the time. A big hurray  for the Redgrave design team. I love this jeans. The textures look smooth and buttery, realy super.

The hair is from Tuty. I knew Tuty from free hairs free animation overiders etc. , but this one you have to buy. i think it makes Nic look sophisticated .

The bag is from Septem Essentia. I showed some days before some free or very inexpensive bags from that shop. This one i had in my inventory.
