Nic is standing in a small house, the Hilton tenement. In the room you can see some free decorations from the Gacha Guardians: the clock on the wall, the "put a little LOVE in your heart" wall frame, the key to my heart home ornament, the pillow with pug, the hearts in the window and the balloons with lights.  The wooden coffee table is from a gacha set from unKindness ( showed it long time ago on the blog ( here). On the table a funny book stand with balloons from La Petite Fleur.
The dresser is the Fifty Linden Friday item from {what next} from this weekend (with a color hud) and items in the dresser.

Santa's helper

She just arrived in her glass sledge. Dressed in red and white stripes. The hat is again from The Mad Hattery from the advent gifts ( this one you can find upstairs). The sledge is from the Clover Town Winter event. Search under the huge Christmas tree. On the pcitures on the broken dock walk you can see lights. Those are from the december groupgift from Vespertine . Nic's hair is a sort of promo from Truth on marketplace. It is called 12 days of savings. Those hairs are just 100ld (mostly 250ld). For a variety pack not bad. The warm scarf is a dollarbie at the NS shop. Comes with a hud for many color options. And ofcourse i was happy they had red white stripes too. A hair is included in the  box.The uggs with fur and socks are a dollarbie from Plastix on marketplace for a limited time. Comes with also a nice texture hud. The cool top is an old groupgift from Coco ( still available) . Because the look was a bit cold i bought armwarmers.
I used one of the poses from Elephant poses a new subscribe-o-matic. (You get 5 poses). The shop has moved. And ofcourse i used poses from Le Poppycock.

I am just a dreamer but you just a dream. You are like a hurricane, there's calm in your eye, but i am blown away.You could have been anyone to me. Before that moment you touched my lips....

Nic and tjip are showing some presents. Nic also shows you a new release from Blueberry. The asymetrical top with two colors. Many colors in the mainshop. Love that top. I combined it with a suede mini short from Drift. The armbands are from Pixicat. Showed them some time before already.

Tjips denim pants and jacket are from the Cosmopolitan Sales Room, the gift from this round. The camo outfit is the male groupgift from TentatioN.
Cute is the pose. It is the way the pose from fashiowl was packed. The pose i got at the Four Seasons market.

the sky is the limit..

The hairs from the hair fair 2014 you can see on many blogs, that is why i not just show them for your info, but i like to show them in a bit a different way. This hair from Saltgrass is so beautiful. It comes with a hud  for more blond colors. Grab it at the blond sim from the event. I like to show it in role-play style. The headpiece is from EMO-tions. The headpiece also comes with hair. You can buy it at the we<3 roleplay event. Hair and headpiece are very affordable. The beautiful dress is from Drift at the we <3 roleplay event. It comes with a hud with 10 colors. The dress is 40% off. I choosed ofcourse blue as sky color. Love the metal armbands from PixiCat.
And as a present from heaven, because i had not yet decided about a necklace, came the new necklace from BSd. In blue )) new at Tales of Fantasy&Save the date from the gatcha machine ( 75ld each try)

they followed me home

The carol band followed Nic home ( see post before this one). Nic shows you her new Winter Dreams Gazebo from Pixel mode. You can buy the gazebo at Fameshed. It is such good quality gazebo. i don't like waiting

Nic on the phone. Why does it take so long? She is not good in keeping her patience.

The shorts are from Drift. I took the suede shorts but there are also the cotton version and a version with animal prints. Have a look in the shop. Nic's hair is from D!va at The Arcade gatcha event. And this week i am in time to show the new release from BSD for the SL fashion Week.
May be you think i forgot to recolor the skin of my feet.. but no.. this is the shoe. You don't see the skin through the straps of the shoe. The shoe has nude straps and a nude shiny background of the shoe.

between the reindeers

In cozy and warm clothings Nic spends her time between the reindeers. Even Rino is there ;). Nic found several free items again on the winter Fair. The pink jacket, the scarf the bracelet. Her winter skin and her watery eyes. When its cold you get watery eyes and a watery nose isn't it. The skin has 2 beauty spots . I had to change Nics  face , to get a face thet i liked. A skin can give your face a totally other look. When i first tried this skin with the normal face of Nic it was so unreal puppet like. I didn't like it at all. But because i so often change my body now for the mesh clothings i also dared to do this. And i like the result. The hair is an oldie from Maitreya. I belief it was a christmas gift.

madder lake deep

This weeks color for the 52 weeks of ColorChallenge is madder lake deep. Madder (rubia). Origin: Europe Many different shades of red, traditional dye for wool. The color is more soft then the dress i found for Nic. But i loved this dress so much that although the color is too hard  to be Madder red i couldn't withstand showing it here.

I also want tell you about the shop where i bought it. It is  a new shop for me. Drift is the name. It is always nice to find a new brand.  For the lovers of  free stuff  i can tell you there is a groupgift there too. An apartment pants in crushed velvet pink.
Nic dwelled yesterday on the winter fair. Picked up some nice dollarbies: the recolorable broken necklace, the Christmas cookie jar and the loveletter clutch.
The hair is from Tuty, like the hair in the post before this one.
And i love that fur wrap from Saikin around the arms of Nic. You can get the fur in 3 colors.

And now some more about Madder. In Holland we have a great art designer Claudia Jongstra. She makes beautiful art in textile. Google her name and then choose the google pictures and you can see her works. She is an internationally recognised artist working with natural materials such as wool and silk, utilisiing all natural dyes extracted from plants grown in her own laboratory garden. Plants such as delphinium, red clover and dandelions result in brilliant colours. Beginning with her own flock of Drenthe Heath sheep (a rare Dutch breed) she has been developing the process of felted wools for fourteen years and has turned this once humble product into a contemporary material. In addition to developing fabrics for top fashion houses like John Galliano, Christian Lacroix and Alexander van Slobe, she also takes commission for wall hangings and installations.
