Nic is back

Back from China after three weeks travel through that beautiful country. I even camped on the Great Wall. I saw the sun goes down and the moon rise and the sunrise, while i was on the wall in the middle of nowhere. It made a huge impression on me. The Chinese people are so friendly and full of joy and they enjoy it to help people, i discovered. I recommend you all to go there if it is possible.

It is a bit strange to start blogging again. Nic is still in Asia mood as you can see. Thanks to Iris (lady.radikal) who tipped me about this groupgift gown from Poised. Dancer's tips

After two posts without free items now a post with  gifts. You see a combination of all the tips from yesterday from Dancer. She introduced it at her own special way: " Let me give you some notecards Nicandra". And then i am always curious and think...oh work to be done. It was funny how all matched so well. The jewelry and clutch are from WTG. The new groupgift. You need pay fee to enter the group. Mostly i don't take a clutch and jewelry with me to the beach. Nic did it just for the photoshoot. feeling good in casual

Nic in a mystic wood. She wears casual clothes for this trip. To begin with the high top wedge sneakers ( unisex). You can get them on a hunt at Apple May Designs.Find the hidden pumpkins for 1L surprise gifts until October 31st! Plus... there has been a pumpkin placed in each store (men's & women's) containing a 1L surprise recolor of these new sneakers! I was happy with this color because they combine with the color of the jeans. A groupgift from Poised for October. It is 2 in 1, a menu makes it possible to choose the jeans in black/purple or in black.
The jacket is from DCNY, a dollarbie in the shop. The necklace i got not long ago from the Midnight Mania at WTG. Now is another gift in the Midnight Mania....sorry... but also good. You need be in the group (group join fee)

I love gardening

Nic loves gardening. She shows you a garden dress and set with skirt and a shirt both good for gardening. She did a lot of work as you can see. After gardening Nic went for a super ride on her horse through the wood. See below. it was a bit rainy but that didn't bother her at all in her sweater, the groupgift from gO! What is she wearing? The dress is from American Bazaar. It is the womens  gift for the She & Him group. The gift is near a camper on the square outside. Also a gift for men there. Inside the shop you can pick up some free poses. Nic wears a legging from Oyakin from her inventory. You still can get the gift in the shop in baskets in a cupboard. The bag is from the Love Mommy hunt at Ricielli, all old hunt gifts are available in the shop.
The skirt and shirt are a groupgift at Poison. Nic wears a cute necklace with a watering can, that i made from a mouth pearcing from Sweet Leonard. And i was surprised to see that i had a whole gardening tool set in my inventory. My inventory is so huge, that i have no idea about all the hidden treasures there.
The sweater is from gO! as i said above, The jeans from the Blossom closing sale. ( showed before on the blog). The riding boots were another treasure in my inventory, an old groupgift from May's Soul. The necklace with the tiny bird cage was included. I went to May's soul but ofcourse that gift wasn't there anymore. But you can get very beautiful boots for 50ld. because it is 50ld sale at the moment there...i saw the most cutest backpacks for 50ld ... and everywhere i picked up presents.

the soft halloween look

Hehe i didn't want to make a halloween post. But then Dancer told me about the halloween skin from Poised. I took it from marketplace sl and tried it. Meanwhile talking with Dancer.
And she said this:

So here is Nic as the cute ghost halloween casual girl. May be she was murdered not so long time ago, when she weared her long t shirt and pants from Chronokit. Now she returns every time there at the place of the murder. She walks through doors and walls and is guarded by her old ghost friend. No he isn't dangerous for her as you might have thought at your first glance seeing the pictures. No he is protecting her. He dwells around with her. Playing with her. When will she get her rest? Who will ever know?

Gulf of Lune

Here you see Nic in the Gulf of Lune. I am so excited about this place. A salt marsh from the American Pacific Northwest brought into Second Life by Tymus Tenk and Truck Meredith.

Also excited i am because of the cute funny girl dress from poised. I show the new mesh hair from Lelutka. Be aware that you only can see this hair, when you have the right mesh viewer. For those who can't afford more prizy stuff, i can recommend the D!va hair that i show. It has the same sweet look in my opinion but not the nice long hair at the backside as from the lelutka hair. It is "Maya" (2nd anniversary group gift - still in the shop upstairs /backwall). Gulf of Lune is part of Calas Galadhon park (10 sims). At the entrance you can pick up the october present, a voodo doll. There is a trick and treat game wear a bucket and search in all cabins on 8 sims for nice presents.

mulberry

Mulberry is the colour for 52 Weeks of Color Challege blog. I didn't knew about this blog in the beginning. So i jumped in later. But i enjoyed it very. Now it is nearly at the end. What a pity!

First i made pictures of a super dress and special hair near the Taj Mahal in sl. But the colour of the dress wasn't in the right mulberry colour, i saw later. So i had to find something else and made a quick picture shoot at my home location.

Poised For fri.day!!

I thought I would take a lag break from the big hunts and try a store egg hunt.  I was soooo pleasantly surprised by the wonderful things I found on the Poised egg hunt.  It's a pretty easy hunt - 12 eggs, not terribly well hidden (thank you!).  It was just what I needed.  fri.day released some new boots that go wonderfully when paired with my new hunt outfits.  The boots come with an alpha layer so if your on SL2 your don't need those horrid invisiprims prims anymore - which take your cuffs off  or leave you with no feet (one positive thing I can say about SL2 anyways).  Head to Poised - not sure how long it lasts!  Some of the sweet stuff:

Since Nere (and Mare) are still away there has been a lack of fancy photos. Meet my half hearted attempt in their honor. Hoping maybe it will distract you from the fact i'm posting just a few things and one picture in this post. I'm actually working on the Burning Hearts Hunt - which you can read about here. About half done so (RL permitting) I'll have some goodies to show you tomorrow or the next.
