Advent is the time of hope for the arrival of a beauty we never knew of before. Dark times show us the brightness of light. Searching for your dream, you can come through hard times.
"Even when the world seems empty now, there are always precious moments to remember, that help you through the night" a dear friend wrote me. I hope for every one who is feeling sad or very down, that the hope for the light will make them feel guided.
Inspired by advent and experiences in my life this blog post emerged. It's always a surprise to me what will be the outcome of a the process of making. Bringing together what i get or find in sl and then unconsciously combined with what is inside of me.... and suddenly it's there.

Nic is wearing a set with shoes from You by GeMyles. Also a scarf is included, but Nic didn't need that one now. The hud has several colors. It was a release in November. Now available  in the main shop.

After decorating the room it's time for a glass of wine and enjoy the cosy Christmas sphere already a bit. I am blogger now for the shop "The Green Door Door" now too. This is the first blog post i made as blogger for the shop. Hope to show you many beautiful items. You can see here the classic furniture, the lamps, the tree with ornaments, the socks, the wreath with frost. From the Sway's advent calendar is the tree picture board on the wall. From the calendar at [Hutspot] ( formerly Spider Design) are the balloons, the reindeer teddy bear and the candles at the fireplace. Nic in Latin mood. I think because of the video about an female painter from Mexico, Frida Kahlo. A famous painter with a very interesting life. With lots of pain because of her body but also because of her love, who had many other women. Google her. On you tube are video's about her life. I saw this German version. But there are English versions of course as well. Her paintings are full of symbols.

Now about Nic. She is wearing a top, that i was looking for, a hemmles top. I found this one in the  Summertime sale at Neve (all 50% off at the moment!!!) Don't miss it, because the quality of Neve is always super. I like the texture of this top. It's like satin. And it's made so realistic thin as in rl. Thanks Laura for the tip about the sale).
For the Latin effect Nic is wearing a skirt of Kaithleen's from some time ago. Such skirts are still very fashionable, see for example the FLF item of Ane from this weekend. And also good for summertime and beaches. Make yourself feel as feminine as possible, and go get such a skirt and top. I don't know why, but a Fedora hat gives me also a Latin feeling.
Nic's skin is the 7 Deadly s[K]ins for JULY 4th 2019. The big day for Americans, Independence Day. the skin comes in the skin tone pineapple. Totally free for you. I love the bit smoky eye shadow of it. I used lip gloss so i put the vendor poster below. Scroll to see the skin better.

Behind Nic i placed a wicker couch and footstool from CHEZ MOI. Mostly such a set is for gardens, but i like it also for in a club. The set has a color hud. Also more soft colors in that hud of course. Many 140 animations in the adult version ( 40 single, 40 for couples in love, 60 hot sex animations and automatic rezzing props). Also an pg version is available. The footrest has 20 animations.

At this fresh sparkling morning Nic was already dressed in this short kimono styled outfit, when i got a tip from a friend about a beautiful video made in SL. Called the Samuraï. You can watch it here. Take your time to enjoy the lights, the colors, the landscapes, the camera view points and the emotions of this video.

After that Nic tp-ed to a beautiful sim made by Serene Footman and Jade Coltai, called Ukivok.  Abandoned Alaskan stilt village. Once home to 200 Iñupiat. Located on King Island in the Bering Sea.
I found this sentence in Serene's profile:  "Behold now I shall sleep in the dust, and if thou seek me in the morning, I shall not be". A sentence in the book of Job 7:21. A good one to think about.

I searched in Nic's inventory to find her old Katana ( sword). And it still was there and the fighter hud worked perfectly. Samurai- like woman in the middle ages of Japan were called onna-bugeisha. They were trained to be good warriors.

The outfit is the Aroi blouse from ::UNA::. Available at Neo Japan in 7 separate colors. In the fat pack are more colors. Nic's color is one of the separates but i used the fatpack hud for the belt. Nic's hair with the tail ( bit old japanese style may be) is from the lucky boards at :::Phoenix:::. I added some wisps from  an old a bang and whisp group gift from Truth.
In Nic's hair a hair flower pin from ROZOREGALIA. It's an old gift in that shop, but available. A ring is the newest group gift there. Nic's sandals are a group gift from #Empire.
The skin is a light version from the skin ROUGE from 7 Deadly s[K]ins, that Nic was showing you yesterday. Skin tone marshmellow she is wearing now.

A winter kimono and upstyle hair from Silvery K. Beautiful in my opinion. You can buy the kimono and the hair at Japonica. The Hair is in a gacha. See the gacha below.
I took the pictures near the Harajuku Event. Harajuku is a district in Tokyo. Harajuku is renowned for it's colorful streetart and fashion scene, with vintage clothing stores and cosplay shops along Takeshita street  and more traditional boutiques at Omotesando Avenue. Small bars and trendy cafes fill the surrounding lanes. That is where i placed Nic for the photo shoot.
Although you might wear mostly western clothes in sl, i can recommend also to wear this set. It give such a good feeling walking around as a beautiful geisha. The textures and colors from the kimono are really gorgeous. With the hud from the fat pack you can choose the pattern and color of every part of the kimono.

I'll fly away

Soon i'll fly away. Three weeks far away. I will take many thoughts with me. For example about the good friends, that i met in sl. I will miss them.I will miss blogging too. And this place on these pictures will be in my mind. All is beautiful there. The hammock rocked slowly back and forth. Extraordinary peaceful. Sitting on the  bench with view over the water and a good talk. It made me happy. Feels like home there.
Nic is wearing a short dress from a hunt at Lana. You need find three very tiny black boxes. Difficult to find. Every box has another texture hud for this dress. The strap of the dress at the right side is hanging down. Bit difficult to see because of Nic's hair from DOUX. The tattoo and the pose from Nic leaning on the bench are from marketplace.

Still unconscious  about what will happen, she is sitting on her floor pillow from [.:TM:.], a gift at Tres Chic, because of the 3rd anniversary of the event. She is sitting in the sun outside the beautiful backdrop from Mesh India, the Jaipur background in red, released at Limit8 ( in three colors).Then she suddenly gets an invasion of mice. I think because of the milk. The milk can is with the wood panel screen, the royal wine case, the bucket with white flowers,the bronze bird tree cage, the wine table (the Rare) all in the gacha from Mesh India in this month's PocketGacha.
The grass with flowers, tree, butterflies and the fawns are from Simply Shelby, it's a gift at the Peace by Peace hunt. This summer fawn meadow is editable, so you can drag parts of the scene to places where you want it, like i did. You need find a piece of puzzle. Not easy for me to find. Thanks Laura for your help.

nutmeg

Nutmeg color tones are around Nic on the pictures. And... the chairs, sofa, table and the paperbag are from Nutmeg., from designer Neva Crystall,. She is well known from the Neva River and Neva Estate sims. She is a super sim environment builder. Love already long time her style and pictures. The furniture is also cool in my opinion. It has style and sphere. You can find the items in her main shop or at Shiny Shabby at the moment. The paper bag is a gift at Shiny Shabby for her group members. Group join is free.
Watch at Shiny Shabby in a shop nearby from SHI. The Dark Decadence Collection is so super (see picture below). But sigh too expensive for me. The cacao & espresso platter is a piece of art to see. Combines well with the furniture from Nutmeg.
Nic is wearing a dress.. or should i say lingerie from Jana & Littles SLWorld. Comes with a color hud, but i love this one the most. The love choker is from *PL*, a gift at SaNarRae. The cute socks , for a cosy moment in autumn or winter near the fireplace, are from imbue., at Sanarae a gift too.  The bracelet is also a gift there ( told about it here ).

when you need some loving care...

When you are down and troubled....and you need some loving care.. and nothing nothing is going right...close your eyes and think of... your friends.. and they will be there.. call out their names and  they come running ... they will brighten up even your darkest days.

This text is a changed song text from Carol King. Life, autumn and the change of the season can make people depressed. I know  friends can  help even in your darkest nights...but also little animal friends can help (dogs or cats). And a good walk outside with them can brighten up your day. Yeah i know when you are deeply depressed, it isn't so easy to solve with a walk. But it doesn't harm you and can work as a therapy. For all those who are depressed and read this, i wish you all a change for the better.

Nic got this outdoor outfit from the Midnight Mania board at Entice. I couldn't wait to get it, so impatient i was. But just one night waiting and there it came in. With the hud you can make several combinations. The shirt changes with the sweater. Watch the cute pocket from the jacket. The boots are a new groupgift at Hilly Haalan. Comes with a color hud. In a corner of the farmhose from dust.bunny i made a bit a fall time room. With some autumn- and halloween accents.
