city girl

A quick post in the morning. It will be a busy day and also for the city girl. She is on her way to her job. 

Dressed well for a day at the office. Yes, my alt already has a larger inventory now with styles for many situations. And I will try to style them differently and with many free items.

Her hair for example I made with side bangs, buns and a base from Sintiklia. The front bang I got at Barber Yumyum as a gift. Happily the colors matched. 

The skirt,top and jacket she got from a lucky chair at Luna Chelsea. Many lucky chairs there. And the letters change fast. So she needn't wait long.

Her bag I found at Marketplace SL (an old gacha item). The cigarette ( a bad habit but only for sl picture making) and the poodle she also found at Marketplace SL. Gloves and the necklace are group gifts in the Amias shop. Group membership is free.

pumpkin season

 

She is gathering the pumpkins in the garden. Some are really huge. Others are rotten and need to be burned. In some pumpkins she carved holes for the Halloween feast but the cat jumped inside and was caught. He or she is trying to get out. Other pumpkins she decorated with flowers and the little kittens and puppies love those pumpkins. Nic is wearing a sweater dress from Neve, a gift at the Shop&Hop event. You get the dress with a hud with some colors. The hair is a gift from Sintiklia at S&H. Comes with a color two huds. Because of the note card in the box I learned this: Normal map is important if you have high and ultra settings with enabled advanced lighting because it will fix issues with hair bases and transparent clothing (in most cases). Since I have my new head I couldn't wear some hairs I had because of those issues. Now with normal map it is ok again. Happy me.

Some furniture to show you today. And some items from the weekend sales. So many sales in the weekend. I am happy all is still available today. So hurry up when you like some sale items that Nic is showing you this Monday.
Let's start with Nic. She is wearing a unisex socker sweater from Boys to the Bones for the 60ld Happy Weekend sale. There is also a camo version available. The zipper comes with a color hud. The decor i made in the free bay cottage from Trompe Loeil. A gift for Stay at Home. The wireframe chair from Trompe Loeil i found at Shop&Hop. Trompe Loeil spoils us with beautiful gifts! The wooden art storage with the drying rack from Atelier Burgundy is from the 60ld Happy weekend sale. Combines nice with the draftmans set from Serenity Style from Nic's inventory. The main part of the decor is from unKindness. You can see many items of the cool summer set ( available at Uber till July 22nd: the lamp, sofa, chair, coffee table, console and planter. I am using the set in color harbor. Love the flower prints on the cushions.Vintage Herbal art from Zen Creations is therefor on the wall. A gift at SL Market Place.
At the Belle event you can find the Verdant entry set from unKindness. I used: the cabinet, floral lamp, gold leaf art. not used: ceramic planter and lemon runner.
The espresso machine, on the cabinet is such a beauty. Go to the cute shop to see better.

A pause during the road trip. They found an old shed. And had a lunch there, sitting on the broken old car. There was an owl in the shed. So tame. José was laughing when he came suddenly sitting on his leg.
Again we show you free male items. Are we going to be a good free male blog? I hope so. José is always eager to show free male stuff. Nic is the subtle criticaster when he is combining a outfit.Saying:  "that pokes through", "colors not combine". "Hair need be made larger". "Color of the hair must fit the colors". "Not suddenly purple hair!". "Glasses need be perfectly fitting". Longtime he is standing in the sandbox in a free underpants,  unpacking and showing what he found. Most items are from the anniversary of the Man Cave. We found the short in the Happy Weekend Sale. This one however is in the fatpack. In the sale are the plain color shorts.

Making trips and stories for this blog is wonderful to do. I was building this scene for a story and then my good friend Chi came by to see, what i was doing. I was trying the Tri Bike table so i asked him to sit to see what poses there are in the table. Chi is wearing the free outfit, the last group gift from Hoorenbeek ( shirt, pants,belt, beaded bracelet, shoes, sunglasses and watch all included). A good one for a blog with free items. Mostly i make blog posts with José but he has been sick now for i think two weeks. I am afraid he had a light corona virus infection. He is still very tired, but happily not in danger. A good reason to ask Chi to assist during his absence. Chi liked to help. And we went on the picture as two tourists in Shanghai in the evening. José next time you again. No worries.

winter cabin

Decorating is done in her winter cabin. Now it's time for the dogs to go out. They are styled for Christmas. Inside it's warm with the fireplace from Shutter Field and decorating makes warm. Nic is therefore not dressed in thick clothing. This set you can get at the Sense event. It's not the event special, but i like this one very much. Just simple sweet and elegant. The top is a bit sexy transparent.
For going outside she will need a cosy warm fur coat. At Black Friday maybe she can find one in the sale somewhere. She is wearing hair from Sintiklia. The shop has 60% off sale for Black Friday!  Fitting shoes i found at Tetra. I was there for the Black Friday sale and saw these group gift shoes. Group join is 50ld.
From Lush are the standing pose and the lipstick. Both available at the Black Friday Bazaar and both 25% off.

The Santa Claus decor set from Madras contains the wooden table with cloth, book decor, Santa doll, and the lantern. I used for the Christmas trees ornaments from the Gabriel gacha ( the Polar Bears) and the beautiful ornaments from Serenity Style, all available at Tannenbaum. I love the sled and the Ski stand from DJ/SF. Several nice colors are available. For the cushion on the sled there is a menu when you click the sled.

Yes today she is again a hunter or fighter like Diana or Artemis, the Goddesses of the hunt, from the Roman and Greek Mythology. She has left the cold feeling behind and basks in the  warmth of the autumn sun. Feeling good again. Faith in the good things of life. Never giving up. That's the way i know her.

Behind the bridge you can see a tree with a bench from TLC. The bench has many animations for solo and couples. There is a hole in the tree. Sometimes a squirrel appears. And a squirrel runs around the tree so now and then. There is also a static squirrel in the package. Nice as decor and for picture making. The set was a release at the Cosmopolitan Sales Room. Now in the main shop. On the bridge a pot with flowers. It's a part of a set with a pot with flowers and flowers around the pot from Quality Gardens. I unlinked the original set and used parts of it.

Although you may think this blog post is about the outside beauty, because of the pictures in her boudoir. No ....the inside beauty is much more important! When the inside beauty is good it will influence your total appearance. Your eyes, the mirror of the soul, will shine.

The set also has tied up heels. But Nic is wearing shoes from Mosquito's Way. In beige you can get these shoes as a group gift. Nic's hair is from Sintiklia. The hair comes in rigged and unrigged version for the bangs and the main hair. The necklace is from amias. It was a release at the Cosmopolitans Sales room, in July, now in the main shop. It has a color hud. Nic's skin is again the August group gift skin from 7 Deadly s[K]ins ( see alo the blog post from yesterday), with light freckles.

Around Nic in the swamp are the super cute stilts, the wading birds that you can see at the beach along the seaside or in swamps. I always love to see those birds. The TLC birds are available at this round of the Cosmopolitans Sales room. It's the 7th anniversary round. So you can get many presents there at the moment. The TLC's present is a three toed turtle set. On the pictures you can see the purple lilies with dragonflies also from TLC. They are part of the habitat of the set.

Back home from a vacation in a city with so much art. A city where many famous composers and  writers were born. A city with an overwhelming history and much violence in the past. Even the designer of the dick trophy has to get used to making designs for the FaMESHed X Event. The naughty part of the FaMESHed event. You see the gold digger trohy and the safe and wild decor. More possibilities.  From the FaMESHed X event is also the Motel Slumber Bed Set from unKindness. The bed comes in an adult and pg version. The side table is available in a box with all colors ( 6). And there is a pack with accessories containing the lamp, the mirror and the planter.
Nic is wearing a new release from !!smesh, the romper and bralette. You can influence the transparency of the romper. You can also make it 100% non transparent. A haiku about a virtual experience:

soft blossom petals
a gentle breeze comes
then they drift away

a moment with you
enjoying this virtual world
then again goodbye

At the 17th of April it was Haiku Poetry Day. Strawberry Singh, well-known person in sl, wrote in her blog post "let's do a #SecondLifeChallenge". "Write a haiku poem about your Second Life and share an image of your second life avatar".

A haiku is a poem written in three lines of which the first line 5, the second line 7 and the third line have 5 syllables. It expresses a momentary experience, a thimble full of emotion. 

I am may be too late for the challenge, but i like the idea and here you see the result.

The joy of watching the falling sakura petals we can enjoy in sl every day, thanks to this fantasy world. Falling leaves can also give however a feeling of sadness. Beauty ends. Every time saying goodbye when we go off in sl can also give a feeling of sadness, but we can log in again. 

Nic is delivering sakura arrangements in her vintage box car from Serenity Style. Available in a gacha at the new round of the A+ Event. Start date was April 21. Still running. 

Nic is wearing a free for all skin from 7 Deadly s[K]ins, a gift because of Kings day in Holland. You can find the skin at the desk in the main shop. I used lip gloss from Sintiklia, a gift. The earrings you can find as a gift at marketplace. These are free. From the same shop many 1ld items!

Sailor Moon meets her western sister

For those who are not familiar with Sailor Moon ( like me before this blog post) first a little bit explanation. Sailor Moon is a schoolgirl named Usagi Tsukino in a  Japanese comic or animation (Japanese manga). In the series the schoolgirl transforms in Sailor Moon, also called pretty guardian Sailor Moon, to search for the magical artifact, the "Legendary Silver Crystal". She battles together with the Sailor Soldiers against villains to prevent the theft of the Silver Crystal and the destruction of the Solar System. It was one of the best selling manga series. Acclaimed with praise for it's art, characterization and humor.
Sailor Moon is wearing long blond hair with two long tails and buns. Her outfit has the colors of the outfit from Nic at the right side. But she is wearing a short outfit in the series. The sailor ribbon on the shirt and the sailor ribbon choker are also typical for Sailor Moon. The purple black cat has a role in the series.

With the outfit from :::UNA::: called Usagi i tried to make Nic a bit like the comic person. But because i also wanted show the clothes for non role play fashionistas i created Sailor Moons western sister. So Nic at the left side is showing you how beautiful the top and skirt is for a fashionista. You can get individual sets (linked) with a hud with stickers for on the shirt. In the fat pack are more colors and the sticker hud and the skirt and the shirt are unlinked. Available at the Belle event for Maitreya, Belleza Freya, Slink, Hourglass.
The blond hair with tails is from Ayashi. The buns on that hair are from Sintiklia The brown hair is from Monso. The cats are from a gacha from ~MR~Store. The choker from a gacha from Luas.

Love is the drug that i am thinking of. No.... not whiskey is what she is longing for. That other drug.. love.... loving you is a much better addiction.
