Nic in vintage or Marilyn look. She wears clothes for a warm place. Wishful thinking i guess. I show you this set, bikini with a cover up, sheer delicate in pink Dior inspired by Paisley Daisy. It is not a new release but already some time in the shop. I took this one because it is good for Valentines day. The shoes are the last release from BSD Design Studio. The hair is from A&A ..it has the name Marilyn. No free things in this post, because rl was busy these days. No time to look around in sl. I just had this cute combination in my mind. I hope you like it.

glitter day two

Found another glitter gift for the last december days. This sequin set from Mimikri is the openingsgift because the shop moved. Because of the silverglitter i choosed silvery jewelry. It is from a hunt at Zuri Jewelry's shopping mall, the 12 days christmas hunt.It runs from December 13th to January 2nd.You need find a christmas present box. Tip: christmas tree. There are two trees in the shop. The hair i found on marketplace for 1ld. I recolored it a bit. Made it a bit darker.

A pied-de poule post because i found the sweet dress ( see the first pictures) at milky-way, a Japanese shop. The outfit comes with a sweater for under the dress and gloves. But i liked it more without those things. In the lucky board in the shop you can get a colored version and a sweet sexy and cute bunny costume. Have a look overthere.
I was making pictures from the pied-de Poule coat. The coat, shoes and bag are from Kiki on marketplace. Suddenly there stood that strange looking man near Nic. I liked his suit. It is  a groupgift from Alb Dream. I also liked the monocle and walking stick. I asked him if i could take pictures from us for this blog. I got his permission. Thanks kyohei Avedon. What i like lesser is his thick moustache. Reminds me too much of a person from our history.
Then i dressed Nic again in her pied-de-poule dress from Athor to bring that one back in your mind ( showed it before on the blog). Nic shows it now more simple and that is the way i like it the best.

And below i show you not a pied-de poule dress but a dress in black and white from the cart sale at The Wash. Nothing there over 10ld. The cart sale runs from february 20th till march 13th 2013.

Nic was dwelling around in sl, as always looking for nice stuff for this blog, but then hurried home because Chaos wrote her. He found her sl homeplace. Chaosfear, who wrote on her blog that he liked the slfashionista blogposts although he would love to see more male stuff , was suddenly sitting and busy writing on Nic's desk. Quite a surprise.
And the surprise turned out even better seeing this well-dressed avatar. He told Nic he liked the blogpost with the horned avatar. A blogpost i made from someone i happened to meet in a shop by coincidence. And the idea came up to make a post also of this beautiful dressed male.

So i hit two birds with one stone (we in Holland say: two flies in one smash ;) Sorry for my bad English) : More male stuff on this blog and a happy Chaosfear. And he was so kind to make a notecard with all the names of the clothings, the shops and slurls... super thanks Chaosfear.
As his name says, Chaosfear doesn't like chaos and you can see this when you watch his avatar. All very much in order. No stains.. his suit fits perfect. Skin shaved very good. Hair in order. But he dares to wear a piercing ;).Isn't it typical Englishman? I can recommend that Deejay shape from him. It is a good shape and you also get a nice Deejay outfit ( all together not so expensive).

Watch that super suit. I love the satin around the collar. And i love the colors. Men... when you want to impress in an orderly way, wear this suit.

Nic wears updo hair with a hairband and ribbon from SugarsmacK. I took the black ribbon in the menu. I never was in that shop before. The white  shirt is from Fi*Fridays. I love the simplicity of it. The skirt is a mesh pencil skirt. I found it in a hunt box at Shadow Moon. You need find a tiny painters easel behind a bench upstairs. In it is a female and a male gift. It is from The What Did You Grow Up Watching hunt. That hunt is over but the hunt item is still in the shop ( sttttt)

chinese festival and birthday week at Chop Zuey

The ones who read my blog more will know that i love an asian sphere. So when i found this dress i immediately knew that i wanted to show it on the blog. At the moment is in Virtual Asia City a hunt going on  until 15th October. It is The Mooncake Hunt.You need find cakes around the city. It is because  the chinese celebrate the moon festival.
The hair that Nic shows is one of the gifts from that moon cake hunt from Alli&Ali. In the package is also a wild short hair.
From Paris Metro you can find a set that i once showed on this blog before. Watch here. Now you can get that nice baggy pant and the loose top for free!!
Near the cupcake with the Paris Metro gift there is a chicken food box on the table and in that box is this super sweet lightblue Asian styled dress from Sassy. Nic  wears under it a lace legging from her inventory.

The jewelry is from Chop Zuey. There are some gifts because of the 3 birth day of the shop. They have a birthday week. Nic  shows blue jewelry, but you also can get gold/brown harvest bangles, a ring and earrings for free. When you want pay the group gift fee from 350 lindens, then you get some very nice groupgifts too.

bright morning

Tjip on a bright morning in new clothings. I like to make posts for men. Hope to get more male followers for this blog. The gifts that tjip shows today were already longer in the shops, but i like them. For me they are new and may be also for others. The navy hoodie with the white pants and the blue shoes are in  the last released groupgift at Ydea. The shoes are mesh, the rest non-mesh.

The light purple  beach set is from B!asta. I discovered a wall in the shop with old groupgifts. First join the group. Then right click what you want have. Then in the blue menu that pops up choose the "gift" option. And then the "groupgift" option. More nice male gifts there.

On all pictures Tjip wears new free hair from A&A. I love it! In the same mall i found a slap and dash board with a good male animation overrider. A slap and dash board is like a midnight mania. All who click get the present when the max is reached. Then the board can be used again at the same day for a new group. And.... you need not wait till midnight to get your present. It goes faster to get something. Click the board and then choose slap in the menu. On the pictures Tjip shows some movements from the AO.

a long story

Tjip and Nic in new clothings. It is always nice to prove that with not so much money your avatar can look very well.

There is a discussion going on at the facebook page of Hoorenbeek. A shop with very good quality stuff. The discussion is about this, what the designer of Hoorenbeek said:

"There is a new blogger in town. Let's face it: There are too many bloggers out there. TOO many. The thing that annoys me most is that some are just in the business to get free stuff. I know, i know - not all of them are like that!

But, again, there are too many, to be honest, it's kind of all the same. If you know what i mean". He follows by saying: "Some years ago, we had bloggers like Ben Vanguard, Oscar Page and Perry Proudhon that realy knew how to do their job. Those bloggers were good very  good because they WRITE about the productts". "Lately we have been approached by some bloggers who are starting to change the game. Especially this new blogger from Oxford, England, BlaiseJoshua, creator of the blog: everysecondman ".

I disagree on how a blog ought to be. I think every blogger can do what he wants. I know many very creative bloggers for example in the group that every week join the 52 weeks of color challenge. They don't always make reviews about what they show. But some are very  creative writers and thinkers and top photographers. 

And i disagree about what he says about the freebie bloggers. I am such a blogger and i am NOT doing this to just get free stuff. I do this because, i like to help people find nice quality stuff. Some people can't affford to buy the high prized clothings. Then i am happy to tell them when a designer has sale or put something special in a hunt.

I do this: To show nice combinations with it. To help the designers so that people find their way to their shops ( It is advertisement). To make pictures that i like ( and i hope others like too). To show nice surroundings. To make sometimes stories. I do this because it is so fun to do. I am enjoying this very much.

I think everyone has a reason to blog. A personal reason and it is important to respect that. And ofcourse  we have blogs we prefer and the blogs we don't prefer. So let it be. The diversity of all the people in the world, make the word rich and a better place. Don't push people to do what you want. It will reduce their creativity. And creativity is what is important to get good and fabulous designs, isn't it Ansor Hoorenbeek

At the end i want say. I totally agree with Ansor Hoorenbeek about the blog from Blaise. I can highly recommend his blog. I happened to meet Blaise before i read the Hoorenbeek notecard and blog. I love his blog, because he writes in such a typical British way in my opinion. His reviews are sometimes humourous. 

And last but not least i also love  the quality of Hoorenbeek clothings. I say this totaly sincere. ( i am not on the Hoorenbeel bloggers list hehe) 

Back to what i show. As said before. With free or not so expensive stuff you can create a beautiful look.

The shirt and tee from tjip gives me a "Hilfiger feeling" ( what ever that is ). It is from SG Fashion. Where all is 10ld. There is a shop for males, for females and a jewelry shop. I was surprised it is all still there and not totally without persons. Saw some chippendale boys there. They discussed what was an "over the top look" and what not. Funny to follow.

Nic shows the promo skirt from LeRazz on marketplace and combined it with the not so expensive top from Redgrave at marketplace. Love the back part and loose style. You also can buy a red one with a butterfly motiv on the backside.

The hair is a new promo from A&A on marketplace. Promo ends on 8th november.

The orange bead necklace and earrings i once got when standing long time in the Purple Moon shop. They have a present giver there. When you hang around there, you sometimes are the lucky one to get something.

Again in the 52 weeks of colour challenge a nostalgic german song. Last week we had one from Eliza Quixote about Lili Marleen. The song above is from a later period ( 1974). It is from Reinard Mey. On the dutch radio this song was at the beginning and the end of a program in the night between 23.00 and 24.00 every day of the week. The program is named: with a view to tomorrow. In those late hours this song sounded very melancholic.

I thought about this when i bought the cigarette, bangles and earrings in the sale at Sea Hole ( just 50ld).
Because the shop will move to another place, there is sale. The items with a key are just 50ld. So go and pamper yourself.
I was walking around in the Sea Hole shop, searching for clothings in the color "hot cinnamon" for the Color Challenge. No delicious cinnamon in the post ( i saw so many delicious cakes in sl with cinnamon) but just sadness smoke and wine. But the skirt and bag have the right color isn't it?
The skirt is from the diamond hunt at R.icielli ( 15ld). It is a highwaist skirt, but it is hidden under that silky blouse. Love that blouse. I wear a top underneath because i like the lace.
hair is a promo from A&A on marketplace. I made it more redbrown.

summer harvest hunt (part1)

Summer Harvest Hunt has begun. It is from 1th of september till september the 21th. But first Nic shows you a cool shirt from NV. It is the buddha shirt. It is so special with the naked person leaning against the Buddha head. Because i wanted to show the picture on the shirt i wear short hair . The voting gift  from 31 august from A&A. I recoloured it.
Harvest hunt gives me a fall feeling , so this wood is a prefect background to show you some presents.
