Already several years ago, 1 January 2011, i got a beautiful kimono from a Japanese friend. As i remember well he said it was a tradition at 1 January giving or receiving a kimono. He gave it to me because i wished him Happy New Year in sl. He just came home exhausted, that day after a very long walk, because the electricity in his town didn't work. That resulted in traffic problems.
A new kimono in January always reminds me of that.

Today i saw that i got this kimono from my sponsor gin Fhang. She is the designer of *:..Silvery K..:*. It is a release for Japonica. Comes in several separate colors. With the fat pack you can mix and match all sorts of colors and texture. The one that Nic is wearing is the white kimono. Just the golden/ yellow dress under it you get in white then. I has the fatpack so i could use this color. But the white kimono has this wide mantle/ cloak with the pattern like on the pictures. Love the pattern and textures. Japanese shoes and socks have fitting colors.
The bra makes the kimono modern and gives a sort of BDSM/kinky style idea. Very original.
Yesterday i wrote about a nice video with free items. Searching those free items, i came at Maru -  Kado. When i was looking around in the shop i found ( not free) this lotus ikebana  piece and the round background and the tatami. In the package are two other colors for the flowers. The round background you get also as a much larger piece. Good to use as room divider.
In Nic's hand you can see frost hand ice mist sparkles with sometimes a star going upwards. A gift at Elemental.
