"Going out to the beach with friends" is this weeks theme for the Reine du Shopping contest at Flickr. A nice theme to ask assistance from Laura. Because the look on the poster was stylish we don't wear bikinis but outfits for the sun. Laura showed me first, when i asked her to join, a more sexy bikini  from Bella Moda, the new group gift. Called the Egyptian bikini or L'Egiziana. A bit to sexy for the contest picture. But go there and have a look at Bella Moda or ....read the blogpost till the end and have a look.
Nic is wearing a release from ::UNA:: at the Vanity fair. Comes in five separate colors. In the fatpack are more colors.
Nic is wearing new earrings from !IT! for Designer Circle round 182.  Many huds available. Nic's hair is a good one for sea and beach. A bit loose and behind a tail. The rattan bag is from nani from a gacha. Sunglasses from Mon Chéri also from a gacha. Shoes  from Essenz.

Laura is also wearing loose beach hair. It is an old group gift from Fabia. This one isn't available any more but Fabia has SOME hairs which are similar, such as Rita, Brenda or Joan. Laura is wearing a group gift from Sauvage. You get the set with two textures (glitter and solid in aqua). Laura uses them both. The shoes from Laura are a group gift at Mosquito's Way. What Laura didn't know is, that Nic later on tried the Egyptian, L'Egiziana, bikini. And that she couldn't withstand to make a picture from Nic in that sexy bikini, while she was sneaking in a fitting room on the Brighton pier.

Warm colors for Nic today. Those warm colors will be the colors of the autumn in rl, but Nic is still dressed for some sunny days. The set is a combination of a top from Foxes from the August Luxe Box and a skirt from Petri Model at marketplace. You can join the Luxe Box group between September 1 - 14th to get the September Luxe Box. The skirt you can buy for 20ld. It has a hud with 20 colors.
Nic is wearing hair from DeLa, one of my favorite hair shops.
It's worthwhile to go to the Arcade now. You can enter easy now and you can gather some birthday presents in the middle of the shop on a huge cake. On the pictures you can see several presents. See the credits below. From Ariskea are the moss frames above the bed, a new groupgift.

it's good to be at home sometimes

After many days running around everywhere in sl it is good to be back home and do a photoshoot there. I took from long ago this cute chair from my inventory. I remember how thrilled i was with the spring colors and the nice animations. And although much changed in sl this chair is still perfect. Today Nic shows you a fitted mesh outfit from B!asta.  It is the Grab a B!asta item in the shop and not so expensive. I had troubles with my computer to see the fitted mesh clothes in good order. Couldn't understand why i had troubles because i used the latest versions of my sl viewers. But after trying and trying  i found out  i had to set my graphic settings lower. I tell about it, so you will not get the same troubles. And my wish for rl is now to get a better graphic card. The top on the last pictures is from the lucky board at S@bbia. The boots are a groupgift in the Adjunct shop. The flowers are a gift on marketplace.
