charming man in charcoal

Nic was lucky to meet a man ( Ati Paule) in charcoal colors ( for the 52 weeks of ColorChallenge this weeks color). And although the female post was already made, it was nice to make photos of this man for another ColorChallenge post. And for me easy. I didn't need to buy all and get dressed up ;) Charcoal reminds me of coalmines, something typical for men may be...

He has a cute animation overrider, a mixed ao from Akeyo and Abraham he said. ( i think may be this last one is Abranimations , the animation shop).
His jeans is  from NotsoBad. The skin from Body co. The sweater i already knew. Already wanted  such a sweater for Nic for this blog. It is from Sey. The Ensemble&Cut-off version in Mesh. It has color change possibility with hud…inner, main body and suspender…more styles in store. His hair is from Burley. It reminds me of the hair of samurai warriors. I think the designer was inspired by that.
The shoes are from the Urban Bomb Unit.

And what about this?
Here i show you some pictures made by Richard Avedon, a famous photographer, that he made from coalminers. By the way Avedon was also famous because of his mode photography. Avedon began his professional career in fashion photography working for Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Life and others. An important contribution was his idea to move the fashion model out of the studio and onto the street.
I admire him and i like that idea..  May be that is why i mostly make pictures of Nic as a model somewhere in sl. Google Avedon and enjoy his work.

beautiful promo for men at Crickets

Where can you better show your New York Varsity jacket then in New York Manhattan? This promo from Crickets is gorgeous. You see the total set on the last picture. Also the shoes are included. I like the pants from the Crickets set not so much. It makes a bit too thick. Therefore on the other pictures, i show you combinations with other pants. Tjip showed these pants  before here on the blog.The combination with the blue sneakers is the coolest in my opinion.
Tjip also bought new hair. It is an oldie from Uw.St. but i was happy to find it back on the new location.

streetdance in midnight Manhattan

Nic wearing the new and old groupgifts from Ronsem in midnight Manhattan. It is quiet in the street. Nic drinks her coca cola near the bookshop. Then she starts practising her streetdance. lovely new skirt

Nic bought the new mesh skirt from not so bad. The hair is a groupgift at ZEUS. I came upon that shop because nearby opened the new location of Ribbon. The owner of Ribbon writes this: "I would like to make some events a weekend in commemoration of opening". So i am curious!
The little  doctors bag is a gift at tram  as well as the flats (come in more colour combinations)
And isn't the cow top and summer cardigan from chronokit a good match and cute?

shuttle gray earlier

This post for the 52 weeks of ColorChallenge is posted much earlier. It is because of the cute mesh bag with the elephant. This bag you can get on the WEAR GRAY MARKET.  The event closes in two days. And once it ends the elephant bag will not be sold. All payments for this bag goes to the American Association against Cerebral Tumors.

Because this weeks colour for the 52 weeks of Color Challenge is so dark Nic wanted to enlighten it with the yellow of a spring flower for Tjip. The girls both wear gray. Don't know if it is exactly shuttle gray but it was nice to show you Tjips new Kawai mesh sweater with the giraffe and the new boots from lucky board at S@bbia. Nic wears an old sweater from Ronsem ( posted before) and her new Mesh pants from Notsobad.The hair with hat is an old groupgift from Lelutka. I used it because of the good combination. The potted daffodil is just 1 ld at the Kawaii Fair.
