My new years resulution is traveling a lot in sl and find all sorts of good findings.
You see Nic at the sim Beautiful 4 Seasons. She was host there some days. You see her arriving in het coat from Zenith ( the groupgift for the new year). She wears her knitted winter dress.It is the Christmas gift but for winter time still very good. In the home her red dress from Meb. It is a non-mesh dress but cute. It is in a box under the christmas tree. I hope i am not too late.You also get the boots and a necklace. The necklace is not shown  on the picture. Nic also helped with baking. A warm work so she could wear this short dress, the new groupgift from Urban Cherry.

because i couldn't sleep

I couldn't sleep. So what to do? Just a quick post to show you nice things.

My personal advisor Soraya discovered this jacket at Mimi's choice shop. It is a gift from MEB. She combined it with a dark grey top. I took the same top but in white. It is a free top from Cupcakes. And wow i was impressed by the jewelry she found on marketplace. So good i learned her how to buy there. It is from an outfit from Pure Poison. Because many things in this post have blue tones i choosed this blue clutch from Candy Doll with the big glasses on it. It is mesh and new. My pumps are my favorite pumps Verve from Maitreya.

Trends come and go but classics are here to stay. No matter what the latest trends are, women will need their basics, and a pair of jeans that fit you like a glove will never go out of style.

Here is nr. 8: The capri jeans from Kyoot

Nic is on a journey somewhere in a tropical place. She wears her new capri from Kyoot at Collarbor88. Her silk bronze blouse is good for warm weather. Silk is cold for your body when it is hot weather and warm when it is cold weather. The bag is from lucky board at Bella's Lullaby. I added a belt from a skirt from maitreya (it has many collour options).

The lounge chair ( 4 colour options) and the sunglasses are gifts from Kazza.

ice skating

Nic was sitting at home thinking about what to do. Then she got an invitation to skate from tjip. She put on her warm norwegian sweater and went to the skatingplace. First they had a good talk sitting there and then put on their new skates from Alb Dream Fashion. And offf they did go swirling around. It was super.

Because it is nice to show male clothings too here, i am proud to prove, that a male avatar can have a great look for free.

Tjips hair is free at Exile. The vest and boots and belt are from Gabriel, all groupgifts. The red sweater is from a modern santa outfit from market place. In that set is also a nice santa hat with mistletoe includedd ( not shown here). The skates were from 2oo9. There also are free skates from 2011 ( but i couldn't get them.. spinning sl problem , i guess )

Nic's wears sweater is from Vinylcafé, a groupgift in the mains store at the moment.

those who save us

This is a special post because of the red jacket i found in sl and the book that i just read in rl. The background shows the cover of the book from Jenna Blum. You see a girl holding the hand of her mother. The title of the book is : "Those who save us".

This is what the writer asked her mom when they visited the concentration camp Buchenwald near Weimar.

She asked her, “If you’d been living in Germany during the war, what would you have done?”

She was silent for a moment, smoking, contemplating. Then she said, “I don’t know what I would have done. I’d like to think I would have been brave enough to help my Jewish friends, my neighbors. But if the Nazis caught you, the punishment was death. And if I had you kids to care for…. Well, I can only hope I would have been brave enough.”

That was when the character of Anna came to me, on that road from Buchenwald to Weimar: a young, quiet, beautiful German woman caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. An ordinary woman forced by a crucible of circumstance to make extraordinary, terrible decisions. Anna dwelled in my head for the next ten years, softly but insistently demanding that her story, that of the average German woman, be told.

Well that is where the book is about. I highly recommend this book. The girl in the red coat is the daughter of Anna. The red coat plays a role in the book.

So when i found this coat in sl my brains made a connection to the bookcover and the book.
