First mesh

Hi, remember me? I finally got a new laptop after 2,5 months, a time in where SL has gone through some major changes. I plan too keep blogging, but there is still a lot I have to relearn again. Thankfully Nicandra is keeping the blog up and alive :)



My first mesh outfit! Yep, I've been out of SL for a long long time... I did try on several mesh releases, but I had to get used to the fact that the body is determined by the creator, and sadly I often think the creators have a weird eye to what a healthy body should look like. Or maybe I am the one with the problem, but I did love all of Maitreya's releases. This Audrey dress has just the right kind of curves in the right places.



I added the belt to the dress to get a bit more casual look. It's part of a group gift by Maai, which consists of a complete outfit and shape.



The boots are my new love, they're just perfect beneath either a dress or jeans. Love them.

Most of you probably have previously seen all of these releases on other blogs, but I hope I'm back in the game real soon and show you all of the newest stuff :)

Notsonew anymore

I've had these pics taken a while ago but didn't like them much... then today I opened the folder again and thought "notsobad"... ah well, I do adore the items featured in them so I thought I'd share.



The cardigan I came across when visiting Pivaaca for the first time, cozy and perfect for the chilly autumn days when you're not sure how warm to dress. The jeans are new Plastik slacks (well maybe notsonew anymore) and I love me a good pair of jeans. As usual Plastik items come in a bunch of options of which I chose to wear the skinnileg.



Rockberry Skins have been out of the loop for a while if you ask me... I rocked them a few years back but I kinda lost track of them. Then I spotted this Apple skin and I love its natural cuteness. It's free also if you have the patience to wait on the luckyboard in store...
The hair is by Vive9 and tho not everyone will like their textures I'm digging them a lot.



So at the time I took this picture this necklace was a new release by Kosh. Had to have it coz I adore anything owly and this is so well made... gorgeous piece of jewelry.

Mashooka Hunt!

I should be in bed today by like an hour or two ago, but after receiving the nc from PM about the newest release there was no way I could log off before giving you guys a proper picture of these gorgeous new pumps. Omg they are stunning! Tya Fallingbridge has really outdone herself with these Amber pumps. As usual she offers them in a variety of beautiful colors and it comes with an easy to use hud to adjust your skintone.



Absolutely gorgeous aren't they? I know what Karina's going to do after seeing this picture :P Control yourself!



I'm still in love with my new Dutch Touch face, I think its not coming off for a long, long time. I just love it combined with the messy Amelia hair from fri.day. A month ago fri.day released basic Vneck Sweaters that I've been meaning to show for quite a while, just didn't get around to doing so. The sweaters are very well textured and are perfect basics for any sl wardrobe. The BomberJacket is by Coco and is one of my favorite short style jackets in my inventory.

Dutch Touch skin sale!

Skins are definitely my biggest love in SL, I can't really explain it, but something about a well painted, original face can make me stare at my avi for a long time :) Creepy huh... I was so happy to get a message through the Dutch Touch subscribo about a skinsale, it really made my day. A few single skins are marked down 50%, you can recognize those with a label attached to them. This includes skins in the Dune and Mauve collection and also in the PiP and Punk series from Cleo and Jolie.



Since my linden balance wasn't smiling at me today I only was able to retrieve two skins. The first one shown is Rust from the Dune Collection, the second one Pip7 from the Jolie collection. The third one I allready had in my inventory, its Punk2 from the Cleo collection, shown is the palest version in Pale Apricot, but the sale is only one the cream, caramel and olive skintones.

Ty Joe for the Dune skin, I'm really loving it! :) And Iki Ikarus, if by any chance you'd ever read this... Thanks so much for being one of the bést (skin)creators in SL!

Embracing autumn

Ok so yeah... summer is over... Well of course officially it ended in September, but we've still had a few summery days. But now the rain, cold and wind have really convinced me its autumn. Don't get me wrong, I really love the colors of the change in season and the nice colors it brings with it... I just have a hard time getting out of bed knowing its gonna be terribly cold at my bike to school. (/me grumpy)



Time for snuggly clothes and scarves I think. Fri.day gave Karina and me the perfect basic to put an outfit around, a longsleeve tee, perfect for layering. I love the subtle wrinkling in this shirt and the cozy sleeves around my hands. Fri.day really makes superb basics, this longsleeve tee comes in several colors, but if you need other basics like tanks or V-necks for layering fri.day is the place to be.

So here we are strolling through the forest in our comfy clothes... Sunlight falls almost horizontally, making long shadows. The first trees begin to loose their green and shades of brown and red are appearing. In any way, you have to love autumn in all its glory.
