meeting in Tempura

The nice thing of the sim Tempura is that you always can have a chat with someone. Sometimes it is terrible when someone says "do you want do something"and you ask "what?". And the answer is sex. But most of the time i meet nice people there. Today i chatted with 2 people. Aaron from Arizona and Lya a nice japanese man. Lya asked if he could make a picture of me. Below you see what he made. He gave me a snapshot.

Although Lya said the quality of a snapshot isn't that good, i like the vague sphere and darkness of the photo.
Aaron appeared on my home location and chatted so much that i couldn't work on this post ;).
I took lesser vague pictures for you so you can see my Leezu dress. The dress is from a clover hunt because of St. Patricks day. Every clover is 5ld. To get the whole dress you need find several clovers. Nic is wearing hair from Vanity, the color demo hair. Very usable. 1ld and you get all colors.

special meeting and skins

Walking through second life you meet all sorts of people. Today i had a very special meeting. I complimented Alehandrita about her nice outfit and hair. She kindly told me were she found all. Then i told her about this blog and then a big aha came from her. I show you our conversation:

And now about the clothings. I knew the cardigan already that Alehandrita was wearing. But she told me about her top, her skirt, her hair and some skins. I show you two skins she pointed me at. The first skin Nic wears is from Hush, the june groupgift. And the skin on the last picture is from WoW skins at the Summer Fashion Festival. The lips of the skins are not what you see because i liked to wear the lip make-up from Fishy Strawberry that i bought at the dressing room some time ago.

early morning shopping

Nic went out shopping early this morning..you can see, she already bought this nice white mesh dress... and is walking through the park... but then in another shop, she is in doubt: "will i take this nice red sweater too?", she is thinking....then she sees the prize, just 1 ld and all doubt is gone, hehe.... oh and she also went to her hairdresser...a nice short curly look she has, isn't it? she can go home satisfied......

Oh and a little confession, because the mesh dress didn't fit so well, she had a little breast reconstruction, to press her in this medium size dress.. haha what mesh can do with us :).. but her old shape is still in inventory...

Embracing autumn

Ok so yeah... summer is over... Well of course officially it ended in September, but we've still had a few summery days. But now the rain, cold and wind have really convinced me its autumn. Don't get me wrong, I really love the colors of the change in season and the nice colors it brings with it... I just have a hard time getting out of bed knowing its gonna be terribly cold at my bike to school. (/me grumpy)



Time for snuggly clothes and scarves I think. Fri.day gave Karina and me the perfect basic to put an outfit around, a longsleeve tee, perfect for layering. I love the subtle wrinkling in this shirt and the cozy sleeves around my hands. Fri.day really makes superb basics, this longsleeve tee comes in several colors, but if you need other basics like tanks or V-necks for layering fri.day is the place to be.

So here we are strolling through the forest in our comfy clothes... Sunlight falls almost horizontally, making long shadows. The first trees begin to loose their green and shades of brown and red are appearing. In any way, you have to love autumn in all its glory.

Yes it's a dress!

Tho you quite need some courage to wear it in public... but hey if you leave the skirt behind its a great bikini!

I was pleasantly surprised when I read the notice from the Leezu group about a free gift in store. It's the above dress / bikini named Zuzu Monokini and you will find in the center of the store on the counter for the next week. Leezu is in my opinion one of the most creative designers in SL and her items are of high quality, so it's definitely worth checking out.

Fashion Expo 2009

Hi I am Dido and I am a friend of Nere and Karina.
Although great friends and often shopping together, Nere and me we have different styles. Mine is more tough according to Nere. She asked me to blog so here I am. Mmm, feels a little akward but will get use to it I guess.

Anyway, this evening I briefly visited the Fashion Expo 2009, wandered around and bought some stuff. This made me feel good, because this way I donated to the breast cancer foundation.

One of the things I bought and wear here is a Kunglers short jeans (grey dirty colour), which I combined with my favourite black leather Bare Rose jacket and a pair of red LeeZu Corazon stockings. The stockings in many colours were a LeeZu Baxter group gift a while ago. I completed my outfit with another favourite: my red BAX ankle boots. Love these boots and bought them in various colours. So nicely made AND with a great fit. Oops almost forgot my SG (Sweetest Goodbye) white box top.

Here I go...

I was honoured when Karina asked me to help out with her new blog! I consider her to be one of the better dressed avi's in our second life and I'm glad she likes to see some of my style on this blog as well.

Let me start with an outfit I've been wearing a lot since Leezu Baxter created her Revolution Pan dresses. Leezu creates some of the best dresses in sl with beautiful rich colors and her designs keep surprising me. Tho I absolutely love the dress, I chose to only wear the top half and combine it with Armidi Brindisi slacks. I think put together this outfit is kinda chique but still casual enough to just do the daily sl shopping :)
