Again in the 52 weeks of colour challenge a nostalgic german song. Last week we had one from Eliza Quixote about Lili Marleen. The song above is from a later period ( 1974). It is from Reinard Mey. On the dutch radio this song was at the beginning and the end of a program in the night between 23.00 and 24.00 every day of the week. The program is named: with a view to tomorrow. In those late hours this song sounded very melancholic.

I thought about this when i bought the cigarette, bangles and earrings in the sale at Sea Hole ( just 50ld).
Because the shop will move to another place, there is sale. The items with a key are just 50ld. So go and pamper yourself.
I was walking around in the Sea Hole shop, searching for clothings in the color "hot cinnamon" for the Color Challenge. No delicious cinnamon in the post ( i saw so many delicious cakes in sl with cinnamon) but just sadness smoke and wine. But the skirt and bag have the right color isn't it?
The skirt is from the diamond hunt at R.icielli ( 15ld). It is a highwaist skirt, but it is hidden under that silky blouse. Love that blouse. I wear a top underneath because i like the lace.
hair is a promo from A&A on marketplace. I made it more redbrown.

Millettia laurentii

Wenge is the product of the Millettia laurentii tree. Native of the Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Gabon and equatorial Guinea. The tree was put on the endangeroured list due to the destruction of its habitat and over exploitation for timber.

Let this wenge post for the 52 weeks of colourchallenge blog be a cry to PROTECT OUR TROPICAL FOREST.

The colour wenge is a nice dark misty brown.. a very beautiful colour.

Because i wanted make a native tropical rainforest sphere i searched my inventory and found the fringe dress from sugar cube. The native look inspired me and i found the gorgeous native necklace, native shoes, a native vest and a native bag. And then discovered that the sugar cube shop is gone ((((

But the dress from Fishy strawberry is a very very nice substitute and has the wenge sort of colour ( although it is the black version )

Pictures made in the library with stuffed animals. I brought my tiny tree there as a warning that we need protect mother earth and not save all species stuffed up in a library (and yes the bookcases are wenge).

The shadow of the wind

"The shadow of the wind" is a great novel written by the Spanish writer Carlos Ruiz Zafón. The novel, set in post-Spanish Civil War Barcelona has a very mysterious sphere. A young boy, Daniel, is taken by his father to the secret Cemetery of Forgotten Books, a huge library of old forgotten titles. According to tradition, everyone initiated to this secret place is allowed to take one book from it, and must protect it for life. Saturday i show you such a place in sl.

I think the misty evening sphere on the pictures combined with the fact that i was in sl Barcelona sim with the name: " Echoes of the Past" made me think about the book. I can recommend the book.

I hope the evening light doesn't diminish the possibility to see my nice new sale dress from Gabriel. Thanks Soraya to tip me.The dress is so warm and the fur so fluffy. The boots i saw on the blog of Teshan ( she is such a good blogger!!!!) I HAD to have those boots anyway, although they are expensive. But the quality is super. So can we say it is worth paying for? Well i am very happy with them. The hair i found, because i had to be on stage as Agnetha from Abba yesterday. The bag i bought for my post for next saturday.
