The jacket from tjip from the Wayward hunt  from Xin was extremely  hard to find. You find the tip below in the credits. The Wayward Hunt has so many good items. I combined some with other presents ( not from the hunt). The dress from Siss Boom for example. Tjip wears a gift from Electirc feel. I put a sweater from COCO under the hoodie. morning rose

All went wrong so to see for our morning rose, Nic. First her plane crashed. Later on the horse that she found seemed more dead then alive. This post is made for the Twisted Color Challenge. The two colors together got the name morning rose. Beautiful name. It inspired me first to make another post about Nic waking up in the morning. I will show two pictures of that below. But then Nic was again travelling and discovered a light green short dress with the green pumps, a groupgift from Ydea and in the Pixel Mode shop in the sales part of the shop this pants. The pictures are made at the sim of Pixel Mode. It is such a beautiful sim. Nic's skin is the Pink Fuel groupgift for Valentines day. The jewelry is from League. I think the colors of this challenge are in it.

stylish hair

Nic wears stylish new hair. The cute shop is new for me. It is called Rumina Styles. I asked the designer Malia Actor about her work. She is from the USA. She started the shop on october the 6th. So open for 3 month now. I thought her style has Asian influences. She would say more urban .
"New styles coming for 2013!  You don't want to miss this..." she writes in her profile. Stay tuned. I am looking forward to it. Wish you lots of creativity Malia.
Nic wears a loose top from the fi*Friday shop from Autres. The top underneath is from League. Nic wears the Amarelo Manga skin from the hunt ( told you before about it this week). And the red nose and wreckles are from the Ys&Ys skin, that i showed today.

No it is just a title. Nic isn't so cruel. The title just came in my mind because of the gift hair from Magika from today. It has blood tips or candy corn tips ( a sort of caramel brown). Nic shows 3 pieces that she took on the halloween hunt at R.icielli: the bag, the black sweater and the skin. You need find a pumpkin in the mesh shop of R.icielli. Very easy to find. Each pumpkin costs 15ld. You can find 20 pumpkins. When you are a starter in sl then you can dress up complete and beautiful for not so much money,when you do the total hunt.
The pumps with chains are from the Dressing Room Blue ( left shoe) and the Dressing Room( right shoe) the package contains 5 sorts of pumps. The bloody theme and chaines go well together.
Oh and something  about the scarf. This one is an oldie from Miel, because i needed a black and white scarf. But you can get such a sort of scarf for free at League. The package contains 3 types ( tribal, paisley and nans) They go well with the candy corn tipped hair, because they have  more brown shades.

because the sky is in it

The clouds in the necklace from League at Collabor88 move. This is so gorgeous. I think many already blogged about this one. But i couldn't withstand making a post with it. The clouds above Nic seem to come back in the necklace. The necklace has many possibilities ( moving sky, still sky and long, single double and triple ). Big deal for just 88linden ;)
My lace shirt and skirt set is from Gfield. I bought this mint version some time ago in march. It was only available at Fashion For Life. But there are many super colour versions in the shop. The lace and the silk of the set is fabulous.

hogwarts

When you visit a roleplay sim like the Hogwarts yourstory roleplay sim, you have to follow the dresscode. I weared steampunk clothings, but may be better wearing there a school uniform. Most people there weared school uniforms as you can see on the picture. I don't know where they got those, but i know a good schooluniform in M*Motion ( prize camp) and see for many tips this page. So if you need a uniform for roleplaying. Go there. The knitting lady was so funny. Don't know where she got her knitting from ( can anyone help find?)

I wear my a necklace from NSD. It is in the basement of the shop. Gloves and armband are from Hermony. Near the entrace is cool ( so worth paying for) stuff.

My dear friend Karina has given me the hunt bug. And recently a hunt came up that spoke to my most favorite aspects of SL, so she let me do a little blogspot about it. The 1^st Annual Steam Hunt offers a unique opportunity to discover some amazing creations in SL. The Steampunk genre is known for its inventiveness and creativity set to a Victorian backdrop, ripe with opportunities for fun roleplay as well as just fun dressing up! On this hunt, I discovered some fascinating shops that are definitely on my return to list. This hunt had it all, clothes, accessories, furniture, gadgets, textures and vehicles. Below are a few of my favorite finds. (Only those indicated as hunt item actually came from the hunt).

My most favorite hunt item, Steam Sparrow Flying Hansom from Munro Imaginary Motors. Outfit is Willow Couture from UK Couture, hair Nadia (Auburn) from Elika Tiramisu Designs. The cute little bird in the background is a hunt item too, Mechanical Bird from Damani. He wanders around aimlessly bumping into stuff, very cute.

This was also the first time I joined a hunt group, and the people on it were so helpful and fun, they really made this a great experience. The group is called STEAM Hunt Punks. I think it’s time you added some steam to your style! Check it out : )

Disco!

I'm surprised for not seeing this dress blogged more on the freebie blogs, cuz I'm loving it! It's the latest group gift from Kunglers and it makes me feel like dancing... so I did... The name of the dress is -so appropriate- Disco dress and you can get it in the group notices.

Last December Kunglers changed from free joining to a 50l joining fee, but it's such a little price for a group that puts out gifts regularly. It comes with the nice bangles as well!

Babysitting houses

My friend Dido is on a three week during vacation, travelling through Spain with her car. Every now and then she keeps me up to date about the beautiful places, buildings and culture she has seen and the hotels and b&b's she has stayed in. Not too mention the great food and wines that is served everywhere. I can't say I'm not jealous! But I'm a good friend and in the mean time I can babysit her house (read: act like its my own...).



Really Dido, I didn't mess with those pillows, their all still in the same place. :P

I was in the mood for a simple outfit so I put on Michami's Ebba tank in purple. Together with some capri's from Aoharu I felt all summery and relaxed. (Gosh my brains are so mushy after this last exam week.) Ready for summerholiday!



Of course I had to wear one of my newest Maitreya hairs. I absolutely love these hairstyles, they are so perfect for my mood. A bit messy, but understatedly sexy. I know Dido would look gorgeous in these hairs as well, but sadly, the poor girl won't be able to login to SL for a week and a half... :) Yes justice after all!

League skins!

You've heard me mentioning it before, I am so excited about the new skin release from League. Whenever I get a notice from Nena Janus about a new release I fly over there asap to check it out. Imagine my cries of joy when I found out she had put herself to creating skins. I ended up loving the skins so much I even used the money I saved for the hair fair, since she released the skin just a day before the opening of the hair fair. Smart move!

There are two skins, Kate and Misty. Both come in three skintones; Deeptan, Suntan and Medium. I bought Misty in Medium. She's actually a little too tanned for me, since I'm a redhead and usually wear rather pale skins. But the luscious facial features and soft lips where just too irresistible. And I haven't had any regrets!

Misty's fatpack has 12 make ups too choose from. The make ups are very subtle and natural, not too over the top as you see a lot on other skinlines. Shown below are four of the make ups available:


Natural, Fuschia, Deep Smoke, Greenglade

Miss Janus also thought of one very clever thing. Every single skin comes in no less than four options. You get a bald and a hair version, but the best thing is you get a free push up effect too! See this picture, the top image is the normal version and the lower image is the boobs pushed together. This certainly looks great on some types of clothing.



Last but not least, miss Janus didn't only paint the face and breasts with so much detail, the body of the skin is equally pretty! Allover the body you can see subtle shading and a few cute little moles! Also the collarbones and bellybutton are my idea of perfection. I love the attention to details she has put to these skins.

My advice is to make sure you hop over to the new skinstore from League and check out these skins, they are a fantastic addition to SL 's best skins.
