Sitting in the hazy sunshine at the beach. Also a bit drizzle rain so now and then. She was alone on the pictures, but not on the beach. There was someone back home and in sl. It was worth the waiting. However in rl i am not feeling very well, so i decided to take some rest. Some blog posts i will do, but some designers i asked permission to blog in about two weeks. It will give me some space to slow down.
Nic is showing you an outfit and earrings, that i got in the We Love to Blog group. The outfit from smesh comes with shoes, but i show you the shoes from [Goz] for the Saturday Sale. The outfit, top with bermuda and  other shoes have a promo price at Marketplace and in the main store.

At the Cosmopolitans Sales Room you can buy the planks with cloth and the pilings from DJ/SF. Also a storm lamp you can buy. You get the lantern with more fogged or worn out glass. To see the candle inside the lamp better, click on the glass, choose select face and make the  glass a bit more transparent. See the third picture. The cloth has many sit animations. You can buy a PG or Adult version. Choose a rustic or driftwood color. I love driftwood and beaches.

Many people are away now, on vacation in rl to beautiful countries with high mountains or to beaches or lakes. Visiting little towns, sitting on terraces.
When you stay at home, like me here in Holland, it is also so relaxed at the moment. Lesser traffic, lesser noise, lesser waiting in the supermarket, sunny days and enjoying the flowers in the garden. Love it this time at home.
My sense of vacation comes back in this blog post here. Made with several items from the new round of the SENSE event. I love the life guard tower of Evhah ( several Adult versions). Comes with a color menu for several colors. In the set are palms with a rock, torches, and the life guard sign. When you start sitting you get the pose on the last picture with the binoculars. The other poses used on the pictures are from Lyrium

mid summer feast

It was a unbelievable beautiful day today for Nic. So a toast is fitting. Let there come many of such beautiful times for her, i wish. And it's mid summer! Romantic times! Heard a super story about many many fire flies in rl, as if the sky had fallen down. Like the fairy bushes we know in sl, but then in REAL!
Another toast is for Second Life 16th Birthday. Yes, 16 years already! And i wish that it will stay forever. This game gives so many people pleasure around the world. Well done Linden Lab. Go ahead to make this fantasy game always up to date to give it a long future. I am in this game now from the 20th of February 2007. Twelve years and four month. An oldie and a die-hard in sl. Those who stay long here, mostly have done a lot and experienced a lot. Good things and terrible things can happen because of Second Life. But i still can't get enough of it. I made very good friends here that i don't want to miss. I traveled around the world to meet some. This would never have happened this way without sl.

Nic is wearing some presents from the SLB16 Shopping event. I visited two ( Aurelian and Halcyon)  of the five sims. The rest will follow. Quite laggy all, so it takes time and patience. Everywhere you can grab presents. Nic is wearing a necklace and a dress, both presents at the event. The Birthday Vanilla Cake and the waffles are also presents there.
From the Sense event are the shoes, the lipstick, the Milo bed and the trees, snake weed, low hill and the white flowers. The Milo bed comes with some bamboo and rock cobbles but i was not on a tropical beach so those i don't show. The bed comes in duo and three-some version. Many animations for female, male and adult. Large texture change menu as well. A beauty for beaches.

No i am not saying farewell to blogging. It's a farewell to something that wasn't good for me. With sadness in my heart i say farewell. No worries life goes on.

Nic is wearing a bit a kinky style hair. This hair is at the marketplace banner. I read about it at the blog from Strawberry Singh. See her blog post here. It was an old hair from Adoness. Because there came so much questions about this old hair, the designer of Adoness updated the hair a bit and you can buy it again in her hair shop or on marketplace. The jewels are in the hair (comes with a color hud).
I thought:" oh wow good for a bit a dark and sad post". Good for Halloween styles too. So that is why you see the hair here. The earrings with web are from !IT!. The tattoo is a new gift from Carol.G Tattoo. I am glad to be in that group. Often the designer is spoiling us with beautiful tattoo's. Nic's lipstick is a gift at Izzie's. No prince, no Laura but just her animal friends around her this Sunday morning. After relaxed shopping at the Aloha Fair picture making at the beach. I think the birds are expecting to get fish from her. That's why she can come so close to them.
The Aloha Fair started yesterday. So if you need beach wear go there. I like for example the crochet swimsuit from MOoH! very much. It's a gift (see below). It's still summertime.

dreaming about her Prince Frog

She came to the pond with hope. She wanted to kiss a frog to get her prince, but she fell asleep near the goldfishes in the pond. No prince today. But dreaming about him is okay of course.
For her frog prince she need to visit the Enchantment Event. The event has the theme: The Frog Prince. May be i show you from that event more these days. Event is from Aug 11 till 31. Nic will follow the swamp to give her prince a big kiss.

"Going out to the beach with friends" is this weeks theme for the Reine du Shopping contest at Flickr. A nice theme to ask assistance from Laura. Because the look on the poster was stylish we don't wear bikinis but outfits for the sun. Laura showed me first, when i asked her to join, a more sexy bikini  from Bella Moda, the new group gift. She is cute the little Shihuahua. But i think Nic is also looking cute in her bare back romper from MOoH! The romper is one of the presents at the Beached Bunny Hunt. The other presents are the shell earrings from !IT!. Search the blue sand bucket in the shops. More info about the hunt is here.

She is feeling wonderful. But there is one sad thing....you are not here. Missing.... She wants share so much with you but it's silent already some time. But it will be okay when you are back. That's the mystery of love. In the meantime she better enjoys life and all the blessings of her life.

So retro and so sunny.  Nic's hair is a groupgift from D!va released in may. I totally missed this release, but here it is now on the blog at least. It's a fatpack. The designer from D!va had long time problems with her health. Is this group gift a good sign, a sign of coming back and recovery or feeling more strong? I hope so very much for her. Asian impression

The Asian impression comes not only from the surrounding. Nic is in an Asian garden in Tokyo. The Asian impression comes also from the free skin that i got at .xxx. That skin gives Nic's face in a bit an Asian look. I'm loving it. I could combine it with the body skin from Glam Affair that is in the Maitreya Body Hud.
The cute bento dress from Arcane Spellcaster is one of the dresses in the shop, that moves in the wind. It's so cute ( and a bit sexy ) to see! Comes with a color hud with 20 colors.
The ribbon garter is from Ambrosia, a gift at The Chapter Four. The shoes are the Mom's day gift at Hilly Haalan. The ankle bracelet is part of the Pure Poison shoes for Fifty Linden Friday from last friday. And still there at Saturday.
The hair with cap is the new group gift from Fashionably Dead. I am glad i was still in that group. Group join fee you have to pay, but old gifts are still there. The bracelet on Nic's arm is from !IT! at Swank. The Majesty clutch ( how relevant today ... thinking of the huge wedding in England) is a gift at the eBento event from Chop Zuey. Some things in life are bad... they can really make you mad... when you're chewing on life's gristle

Nic is looking at the bright side of life.
I made a corner in the field with trellis from the Peace by Peace hunt from Prim Pile Creations. On this hunt you need search for a piece of puzzle. Because the trellis is editable i could drag the cats and the birds and the sunflowers.Those are parts of the trellis. Also the beautiful well-made pool set from TND, containing the paddling pool, the floating tube, float mattress, the cooler and the towel stack with radio, are all from that hunt.
From the Summer Loving Hunt are the camp loungers from Cheeky Pea.
Nic is wearing the body part of a dress from the sunflower dress from Matahari Style (from the PbP hunt). Her necklace with heart is from !IT! at the May round of Swank. You can choose which sort of color hud you want. Nic's hair is from Truth the group gift from April. Used it before in another blogpost, but now Nic is wearing another hair style from the styling hud. The croissant in Nic's hand is from the PocketGacha from ::ChicChica::.
On the camping table from AXL Pro are drinks from poche and a coconut drink from Elle Mode (at marketplace) from Nic's inventory. I couldn't find the one from poche back in the shop. But wow i saw such a super cute 50ld summer desert there, that i couldn't resist to buy. So for nice decoration of your summer garden go there.

salukis .. the dogs of my youth

When i was a kid we had salukis, or also called Persian greyhounds, at home.The name Saluki is derived from the Arab city of Saluk, which has disappeared under the sand. Salukis were used as hunting dogs by various nomadic folks. The dogs can run very fast. They are curious, shy and sensitive. One was my big friend. She had this black and tan color. It was a pleasure for me to discover these animals in second life. They were out at the april round from the Chapter Four in a gacha. Will soon be in the mainshop i guess. Also available at marketplace.

Nic went to the beach with them at the renewed sim from Kathy ( zaziaa) "Les Reves Perdus". Beautiful landscape again!
Nic is wearing a lovely top from Aleutia. Available at Tres Chic. I combined the top with pants from an old hunt at Ricielli. Comes with a color hud. Old hunt items are all together in a part of the shop. Nic's shoes are from the last hunt at Ricielli (the Easter hunt) For the shoes you need go hunting in another part of the shop. My blog followers will know that i am a hair addict in sl. When ever i see nice hairs i can't withstand buying. At Tres Chic i saw this beautiful hair from Fabia. Nic is already wearing her red dress and she did her hair up real big. But first a walk with the dogs with her twin sister. She is wearing a sweet girly dress, the 2ld hunt item from Siss Boom for the World Tour Hunt. Find a globe.

The updo hair from Nic is an old group gift from TRUTH, still available in the shop. The hair from her twinsister is from Sintiklia. Nic showed this hair before on the blog.
The red dress is a limited time gift at GothiCatz. The model is the same as a dress that i showed before on the blog from *MIRUS*. No problem because also this one i like. And Nic needed a red dress for the night, isn't it! "honey i'm on fire, i feel it everywhere".
