Here i wear, as promissed, the other jacket from Chronokit. Realy super detailed again.I wear a leather skirt and western boots from studio M's. Where are the days we stood there with many to get those boots and this skirt from the lucky chair. Same can be said of the days that Atomic lucky board was hot. Both shops are still there, but no lucky chairs anymore.

But the jacket from Chronokit is so cool!!!!

My hair is the new years gift Nikki from Exile. But remodeled. All the paper streamers i made very tiny and dragged them into my head. A lot of work. But now i can wear the new years hair every day of the year ;). When you want to do this too. Then touch the subscribe-o-matic. It is nr. 2.You get 4 colours. This is the colour autumn. Nic wears the mesh dufflecoat in pink so fresh and colourful for the upcoming new spring season. She combined it with her pink boston bag from the gatcha machine at Cafe*Amie ( for just 30ld). There is a green one there in the lucky board. Another lucky board there is with grey lace up boots. Nic wears a new black striped jeans. It is from the women/menstuff lounge. Many presents there from wel-known designers. On that event you can get so much presents.

the biggest amount of patina or freedom in patina

The Statue of Liberty in New York got its green patina by oxidation of the copper. The Burghers of Calais by Auguste Rodin have an almost black patina on bronze. Patina is an oxidation layer on metal objects. So there are more patina's then just this green one.

The Statue of Liberty symbolizes the welcoming of all: returning Americans, immigrants and guests. And did you know that that important piece of land in ancient times was owned by the people of my country? They dutch changed the colony New Amsterdam ( now New York) for the country Suriname as often is said.

For me symbolises this statue the value of freedom.

And now about the clothings. I realy love love love this mesh sweater from Maitreya. The folds curve around the body so marvelous. That is why i made so much pictures from many sides. It accentuate the beauty of Nic's back so gorgeous. Yes, i just can speak about it in superlatives.

I also can become lyrical about the mesh boots from Maitreya. And last but not least my ajour leggings, so happy with them.

The short pants from mon tissu give the impression to be mesh, but they aren't. Quality of that shop is super.

The good observer can see that on one picture i wear dark eyes whereas on most pictures i wear patina coloured eyes. The dark ones are from Fascism> you can find them in the groupnotices.

My green are another version of eyes that i always wear. Same can be said of the skin. This is the version of my skin with the green eyeshadow. The necklace i showed before, but i wear now the grey version.

The hair is from the sale at truth district. watch the hairpins..so cute.

This post is made for Soraya and it is about her addictions ;) She likes bags so much. And i was glad to find some nearly free bags today for her. She was complaining this morning: "i am out of money again, so i can't go shopping in sl today ( big sigh) and nowhere are places where i can camp and earn money ". I teleported her to the bag and told her about the sale at Truth District and that i bought truth hair there for 125 ld. "Oh my goodness".. she said.. " then i go to sl change to buy lindens ". So shopping and spending money in sl is another addiction. And i happen to know the next addiction: eating chocolate. So i tease her with my huge chocolate cupcake that i just bought. Lace... clothings with lace.... is the last addiction from her, i wanted tell about.. So i think she will love the dress ( 1ld) from Sakide.

longing for spring and summer

This dress from R.icielli will be great in spring or summertime. Now i combined it for colder times with a mesh skirt from mon tissu and ajour leggings from Mimikri and the radical boots from Maitreya. I saw a mesh skirt like this for 50ld at Vinyl Cafe. It is on the wall at the dominions fashion district. But it was a pity that around the middle it was poking throug my sweaters. But it is okay for t-shirts and has 4 lenghts. So make up your mind. Today you can get there a 1 ld mesh tee too. Sometimes i wish that all clothings where with demo's. Then you can see if it fits for what you have in mind.

Well the good news in this post is that the dress is in sale ( 50ld). And i loooooveee this dress. Thanks Soraya.. my super adviser. She found it.

The hair is relatively new at Amacci. Sorry for you today ended the sale. I was just in time.Woohoo!

with the heli to the beachhouse

A weekend in the beach house. To go there we took the heli. Feels so rich haha. When we arrived, i changed my hairs. In the evening it was not very warm so i wear a sweater top and pants and my long chuck. It feels so good to relax in these clothings.

my " iron" self ?

Is this me? Sometimes i need an iron mask to hide myself. Show a smile but at the inside crying. We need our masks to protect ourselfs sometimes.. to keep us going. To protect the soft inside. The soft side i show you with my dress.. the soft side of the cat, that wants to be caressed.

The softness of the sweater and skirt on the second part of the pictures.

The cute dress and the stole have iron grey tones in it. The earrings are from iron.

The iron masks i used for the background and i remodeled one for my face. They are free at marketplace and come in 4 expressions ( sad, normal, happy and angry). The mask pose is from Vpose..but that shop is gone.

And new hair i bought at Maitreya. Updo hair to show the earrings from PurpleMoon.

I am so happy with the grey free outfit that i just discovered. The softnes of the skirt and sweater is fabulous. The backpart with the ribbon such a nice detail. My hat with updo hair make it possible to show it.

Beauty and relax day. First did my hair.. then took a shower...waited on the side of the Jacuzzi bath for Soraya to come...now its her turn to do her hair...some jogging movements she made to become fit..then talk and relax on the bed... Nic sees the painting of her holiday on the wall.... then finally Nic is ready and dressed to go to the cinema.

Although many already know this unicorn and many posted about it i couldn't withstand to post. I will name my horse "Shay" because Shayariel Teardrop had her 3 anniversary from her blog. Nice dress and a good day for a picnic. The snow we left behind in Saint Petersburg.

Tjip got his brown leather jacket from the Midnight Hunting board. It is a good one. But pff we had to write many to hit the board. Also a nice jogging outfit there as a groupgift.

"Sorry Nic... we aren't in Siberia but we are in Antiquity Saint Petersburg. Yesterday we planned for Siberia. Our retro bike brought us here. We found at least a nice old hotel to spend the night. And... they also have foxes here. We saw this cute red fox. Tomorrow you can go to the Hermitage museum. I know you love the paintings of Repin, Nic! So is this okay for you?"

These warm furhats from LeLutka are good to withstand the cold in Siberia. Would be very interesting to go there :). Love the idea. Just a quick post is this, to show you the warm sweater from tjip, our new hats and the gorgeous mesh boots from Nic.

Walking in Paris. Asking myself shall i take the metro or that tram. Hmm with my high heeled boots i can't walk fast. No problem because i enjoy my new bags and clothings and the surroundings.

I am totally thrilled, because i discovered that in the Milk Motion shop is a teleport door to all old Fifty Linden Friday items. SUPER!!! I missed some of them ....so it is a great opportunity to catch them now. The sweater and the legging are old FLF items. Watch the shoulder from that cashmere sweater. It has golden dots like jewels.

The small bag is from the Gatcha event ( see other post from this day). The big bag is from sl marketplace. The stole is a Xmas gift from Aoharu. And runnnnn it is still there. I checked it today. My boots are a groupgift from N-Core.

forgotten city

Here goes Nic in the oldfashioned elevator to the Forgotten City. It is a nice place to walk around. You also can take the zeppelin to see all. Nearly all what Nic is wearing is from The Seasons Gatcha Event. This will run 4 times a year. It started january 14th and runs until january 28th at 12am SLT! I was happy to discover this in time and tell about it.

For those who don't know about gatcha here the information: A gatcha machine is like a game of chance. For a set fee, you will get one of the prizes offered in the items display board, for example if a gatcha contains 12 pairs of shoes in different colours at 25L per try, then when you have paid your 25L you will get one pair of shoes shown in one of the colours shown. Unless stated otherwise, these prizes should be Transferable, so you can collect and trade the items, and many of these things will make great gifts!!!

Well i had good luck. The things that i got had colours that fitted together.

The light is surreal. But for this new skin, so pale white with the striking red lips it is a good place for making pictures. The skin is from lucky chair at Iren.

"Thanks for shopping Soraya" Nic waves at the door. We did a shoppingtour together today. She showed me the jacket and the bag. Both worth paying for. I feel like a Russsian girl, because of the nice hat and hair from LoQ. Wanted to buy it already, but was thinking about how to combine. Then i saw the white/ cream jacket and immediately knew: "yesssss that is the one to combine with the hair and hat. The pink lace skirt was a freebie long ago from Jane. The top also is from Jane. Men who do sport are cool. Pants for cricket are always little bit special hehe. But this one combined good with the doublejumper from the what ever hunt at 22769. You need find a "W". The hint is: she must be freezing - thank god i have my parka to keep me warm...

Not very hard to find. When you see a vendor with a nude lady in the arms of a men in a parka :) then look down behind the chair. The scarf is included.

The pants and the boots are in the groupgift from Crickets. Near the entrance is the board to join and the board with the present. But there is much more in that gift. For example a tattoo and a necklace .. short shirt etc. Also 2 lucky boards there!

On an uninhabited isle i will survive with my noodle soup. This isle is at the SLOW sim. The picture with the birds is also taken at SLOW. It is a good place to show the japanese goodies that i shopped to day, most are from japanese designers.

The long black jacket is from Izumiya (worthwhile paying for), it swings nice when you move. under it a wear a jeans with baggy upperleg parts. The cute bag with noodle is from Love Soul Food Items Store. It is such a cute and well-made plastic bag. My hat is so funny. A groupgift from 1mm. The long hair from Kik combines nice with the hat. I was happy to discover that my flowery shirt, part of the Halter dress from the Taste of Second Life shopping group (TOSL), still is there.

In my opinion is Nic laying on the bench like Bree van de Kamp ( Marcia Cross) the character in "Desperate Housewifes". Or Peggy Wanker the wife of Al Bundy in the sitcom " Married ...with children". I say this because of her hairstyle. And she says as a housewife to tjip: " don't sit on the bench with shoes on"( but pay attention: she also has her shoes on). Well don't be afraid, there is harmony between those two. So relaxed on the bench with a book near the fireplace.

I want tell about the end of the Fifty Linden Fridays. Yes if this is new information for you... the Fifty Linden Fridays stopped the last week of 2011. And it is such a pity. May be we all can beg the designers to do another year. Just like the colorchallenge.The Fifty Linden Friday event was the first and the best. Many followed (fifty5 thursday,60l weekend, moody monday etc), but in my opinion the FTF had most of the time the best quality stuff. Hope i don't offend other hard working designers with what i say. But i think many fashion lovers in sl agree with me. Or may be better say it this way: the style of those shops is my taste.

Well in the Kyoot shop you can still buy some old FLF items. The sweater on the picture you can buy in white ( i recoloured it for the colorchallenge)

Then about the shop where i bought the belt with the cute skates. When you join the subscribe-o-matic you get the boots. And in the shop there is a board with the snow over me gift. I wear the earmuff's ( dragged some christmas details in my head to hide it , so i can wear it in winter time too), the cloud above my head and the snowman in my mouth ( dragged a christmas leaf in my head to hide it)

Oh and ofcourse coral brought in my mind deep blue seas with white beaches and warm temperature but i took the opposite, ski-resort Tirol to take my pictures. And Nic is a ski piste vamp with her sunglasses and Kate Moss hair. I wanted to be a little bit recalcitrant ;)

Second life has many cute shops. Made with style and fantasy. La'Licious Store, shabby chiq, cottage, vintage french was the name, that i saw, when i arrived in this cute shop to get my free bag. Many pictures there from Aeon Perian and all kind of stuff is gathered in a very small shop and it is snowing there inside..... good environment to make pictures. This is a hommage to all the designers who make good quality clothings or fantastic shops.

Although Nic is not blond like Olivia Newton John, she feels like her in the movie Grease. It is the combination from Nic in her cute dress and tjip in his leather jacket.

And i hear the song "you're the one that i want" in my mind.

The dress once was a hunt gift in brown. Now you can get this dark blue one in the AlaFolie shop in a pile of presents near the entrance.

The jacket from tjip is so cool. And tjip had a make-over. He has a new skin and shape and eyes from marketplace. Yes so easy is a make-over in sl!!!! The shirt with "the Doors" is from the Guarded Cross Store. Many well-known music t-shirts are there on the wall. Hey mister deejay go there to dress well, when you do your job!

When i bought these awesome clothings, i couldn't enter the shop, but could buy them using my camera. The dressing room was closed. Thanks Soraya who told me about it. Now the shop is open and already very crowded, i think because of the new years special that you can get there. I am glad to show you very fast the super new years set from R.icielli ( 70ld). There is so much in this set. i show you much , but there are also pumps and a leather jacket in it.

By accident i came in the Shi shop at Euphoria mall. And was glad to see that some outfits are on sale. I took the one with the leather jacket..love that form of the shoulders and the details and the texture. But the wrap shorts with the asymetrical python side is sooooo super. The small belt through python loops is so detailed. The drape halter makes all so ..so.. stylish

The my mom's bag is cute and stylish.

Yesssss she put it in her shop for me. The big ribbon cape, that is such a super combination with this leopard dress. I wrote Larcoco from C'est la vie because i saw someone with this collar and couldn't find it in her shop. Happily she was online, came immediately and now you can buy it in her shop.

What shoes shall i wear today. It is a luxurious problem isn't it. Nic went out for shopping. She gave herself a few ( a few^^??) lindens. She already knew long time what she wanted to have. The shortsheepskin duffle from Aoharu was on top of her list of wishes. Then the new hair from Exile. With the darkened roots of the hair it is awesome. Then she went for the new super mesh shirt with the low back because the exile hair shows the back so beautiful. And last but not least the boots. Hmmmm and then came the problem. What boots shall i wear. The two coloured ones from Coco ( so classic) or the shearling wedge boots now in tan ( she had already the 3 coloured ones for free). But when she went there ..o boy... she saw those nice brown ones with the straps and folds. Well although she feels herself very spoiled .. i also can tell you she is soo happy with what she bought.

I think more avatars, who like fashion in sl, struggle with the following problem. When you wear a mesh dress or shirt and also mesh boots. The layer that makes things invisible disappear. Hope the designers can solve it. Wearing the mesh shirt under my new jacket was also impossible.

new inspiration

After Christmas it feels a little bit like a new start. So because of that, here a new colourpalette. I wanted to wear my skirt from "So Many Styles". Bought it some time ago already but never regretted. It is a good one to show you. Always gives a "feel- good feeling" because it is just so pretty to see.

Analog dog pampers us with 3 hair gifts. Here i show two styles of them. They come in different colours. I show the blond versions because it combines so good with the fur poncho from Bliss ( a group gift). And the bag in brown completes all.

Last picture i added because i found the nice tube knit scarf with brooche as a groupgift from SMS (also in green). It fits well to my skirt.

There are so many overwhelming good quality christmas presents at the moment in sl. Therefore i show you here a mix of different things.

On the first 2 pictures a shirt from RoTteN DeFiAnCe from RD Rotten Hunt - Find the skulls instore. The skin is from the with love hunt from Atomic. I remember the days when many stood there waiting at the lucky chair. Very good japanese shop! Now it is Year's end sale in the shop. 50% off.

The dress on picture 4 is with a christmas tree with al sort of texts. Click the picture to enlarge and see better. It is from the 10ld store VMC. It is a pity that it has just one layer. Near that shop is a good shop for buying animations.

Oh well i am thrilled to announce you this great gift of Mimikri. For the first time ( as i may believe Soraya) did Mimikri Kit the designer of Mimikri send out a present in her group. Soraya is already long time a fan of Mimikri. In that shop she stood hours and hours and day after day to decide about a blouse. The group join then was free. Lucky one she is. Now is group join 200ld ((. But the white cardigan with frills and the white leather pants ... the whole set is gorgeous.

Day and night at the sawah ( wet ricefield). Days when the colors are smaragd green and gold. And the nights when you hear the suling ( indonesian flute) from far away somewhere and the noise of the animals in the night....All so mysterious and mystic.... i am longing to be there now in RL in my beloved Indonesia.

This marvelous place in SL at the Japan Chubu Sim reminds me of this all.

The more smaragd gold glow of CentoPallini jewels, fit to the day sphere and the goldish shine on my silvery gown.

When the nightfalls i wear my diamond jewells, when my dress shines totally silver.

About gowns i am not blogging so much. There are very good blogs about gowns. I prefer the blog of Annough Lykin. She shows many gowns on marvelous pictures. Have a look. Big compliment for her.

This are not the last shoppings for christmas. Nic and Soraya are too much shopaholic. And look on that first picture. Isn't it bad? Soraya is easily walking without bags and ....with a glass of Glühwein, weil Nic is wearing all the packages. Again alcohol Soraya!!!!!!

You know the tv serie: "Absolutely Fabulous"? When you don't, well watch here. It is about such amazing funny women. One is always drunk ( like Soraya here on the blog) I love that serie. I love to think about us as those fabulous ladies.

We wear new jackets. Thrilled we are about the Coco leopard jacket, that Nic is wearing. Leopard texture is also in Nic's bag and her gloves. Nic's furry hat is free at Sf Design at the moment.

Nic created her boots from 2 boots from her inventory. The upperpart with the ribbon is from Dela (Jape Stern boots) The lower part is from Maitreya boots ( Soho). When you don't like a part of something then be creative was Nic thinking.

Soraya wears her leather and fur jacket, that she got from lucky board. Easy to get because there are wild cards and letters change in 3 minutes. Oh and we both love her hair with the cap and the super cute marshmallow bag from Tee*fy at the dressing room.

midnightmare mania before Christmas

Here in Holland we say when you get a present: " don't watch in the mouth of a given horse". This means when you get something you must not be too much critical about what you got. And yes may be i have to think so about midnight mania presents. The green boots are from a midnight mania at Death Row Designs. They are AWESOME. So that is not the point. But sometimes i have this frustration. You want something, for example these boots, because you want blog about them. And then there have to come 200 avatars!!!!!!! Big frustration. Well with help of many groups we managed it for these. But poor you who wants them too. You need again try to get so many ava's there. I hope you will succeed.

But when you can't get 200 there, i have a comfort. These are not so expensive in the shop and there is sale ( 50% you get back when you buy in the mainstore). And another comfort is, that the brown boots (shown on the pitures) are a hunt gift there .

Around these boots i selected outfits. So the green boots with green oversized beanie (from the with love hunt" INDI design). From my inventory a beige green sweater from Gizza (posted before) and i wanted a watch, so i went to Okey. Upstairs is the freebie zone. You need to join the group (free). Many good free stuff for men (super boots also). The segovia suit comes with a watch. Near the freebie vendor is another board, where i got the padded vest.

When you want resize the boots, you need rezz them first in a sandbox and then add the sript. The script is in the folder.

lunch atop a skyscraper

First picture is not "atop a skyscraper" but Nic as an angel in the painting of Leornardo da Vinci at the Cappella Sistina ( Sistine Chapel) in Rome. As angel she is even higher then a skyscraper.

The next pictures are from the famous photo from Charles C. Ebbets made in 1932 on the 69th floor at the Rockefeller Building in New York during the last month of construction. The men eat their bread.. and Nic eats her gingerbread, fitting to this christmas time. " Oh my... is this deep!!! is Nic thinking looking down.

The pictures i made at ART BOX. In the art box you can choose all sorts of famous paintings and put yourself on a poseball and join the scene. I can recommend it to you for making funny pictures. There are two levels where you can choose a picture. Click on it and you will teleport to the scene.

Streets and a city are good surrounding for showing you this gorgeous streetwear from Jo Faith from T-Zone. Found it on marketplace ( thanks to Iris lady.radikal). And see what you get: hair with mesh cap, jeans with super detailed belt, necklace with women/men sign a SUPER nice bag with cute gloves hanging over it, well-made jeans and boots ( uggs-like). So worth paying for!

killing the time near the lucky board

Hmmmm how dull is this!!!! Waiting and waiting till finally your letter comes up at the lucky board.. Sometimes you're totally alone waiting like i did this morning. So i killed the time trying all the poses from the horse nearby.

I like waiting at a lucky board when there are many avatars around. I edit their clothings and so discover nice free items and new shops. I fear the time when everyone wears mesh. Away is then the time with editing clothings and back times like before: asking ava's that don't respond while away from keyboard or just don't want answer.

And ooooh i remember my hours, hours and days and days standing in Zenith shop ( don't laugh Soraya!!!!!) Wanted to have a sweet blouse in cream..My other avatar tjip has it .. ME NOT. Whenever i am bored and have no plans in sl, i go back there. You will never know.

Anyway this time was good for making pictures from my new boots from marketplace and the shawl from the Moolto hunt at DCNY ( wear Moolto group tag and special Moolto glasses) and the groupgift sweater from Nudolu.

Nic made a trip in the mountains. She booked in a nice shabby shic greenhouse to stay the night. The sweater she found on the market nearby. When you want it, you need search a small bearhead at marketstall from *bbqq* at the League of Christmas. And she bought there her winter pompon just for 50ld. The boots (SOM from Ninu) she already took with her in her suitcase as well as her bag (where is ..hunt) for her bottle of water. Although she weared her new winter gloves she needed to warm her hands at the fire. She did her hair in a sporty look

This bench from Clementine Ishtari is so cool. Her shop has the nice name: Awesom Blossom at the "where it begins" Sim. Isn't that poetical?! The bench has 6 animations. So you can invite all your friends and have fun in the snow. Not so expensive and 17 prims. On my own i already enjoyed trying all the poses and making pictures. Wow i am good in making a hand stand ;). Tired at the end. Hey may be i take a cup of hot chocolat over there.

As many places around this time of the year in sl, this place is so well made. It is near the Paradisis shop. I was too early there. Tomorrow starts a hunt in the shop. You need find pinecones. You realy have to hunt because your area search won't help you (no names they have) Hmmmm will be hard for me..bad hunter. And there are also fake pinecones. But.... at the end you will have a total outfit.

The sweater is the subscribe-o-matic gift from Paradisis. Click again on the subscribe-o-matic, a menu will pop up. It is nr. 4. from december 2.

The necklace and earrings are oldies but still free in the shop. I like it because it are shining snowdrops, fitting to snow fun.

The scarf was a groupgift from Truth in 2009. Never throw away good oldies.

The chapka( hat) is from a hunt. The mens only hunt.. huh what mens only :P Search a screwdriver. We women also can handle a screwdriver and may be sometimes even better.

Because so much is green, red and gold in Christmas time. It is a kind of refreshing to make a post in blue. The blue dress with corset belt is from the"with love ..hunt" I like that belt so much (posted it before). The jacket i also showed before in the post about khaki, but it is now in lucky board at Bukka. The boots are from my inventory. From Clematis. But the owner Iitomo Allen closed her shop. CLEMATIS closed(November 22, 2011),because I got pregnant in RL, she writes in her profile. I hope she enjoys her time and will come back in sl too ;).

"The with love (again)" hunt is going on. I combined a lot of it in these pictures. You need find a small opened box with a heart in it (10ld). With the antlers and the lights on the first picture i feel like a modern madonna.

The skin is from Lara Hurley. I love her skins when she puts them out in hunts. And when making pictures for the blog i like to complete an outfit with a bag. And two shown, are from that love hunt. The fringe one from vive 9 has three possibilities. The tail comes also in neon blue and there is a version without the tail. High quality. From PurpleMoon creations are the boots with the flowers wrapped around. And the dark red bag also with some flowers. All such lovely details.

The shirt is part of a dress from paper doll. Comes in black and white. The lace part i love.

Still dwelling outside i happened to find out how i could cut my tree. Click that tree near me on the picture and you get this heavy "boy" to carry with you. The axe is included. For at home the tree has a cross standard (see the last picture). Because i was tired i had to rest for a while. But oh brrr it was COLD..TERRIBLE.

Stttt be silent. It is advents time, time for introspection. The snowflakes are falling so softly and silent on the ground. The deers aren't frightened at all from Nicandra, because they trust her and she makes no noise. The light in winter time is so beautiful, with blue and pink, when it is very cold outside.

Nic mostly wears her Laqroki skin. Very pale skins are not Nic's taste, but i am thrilled about this porcellaine winterlook skin. It is as if little snow flakes are on it. Super! The colour of the lips ..awesome.It is from the" where is... Hunt". Find the pink star. Tip watch the roof from the small house with the groupgift.

The groupgift is also a beautiful skin. And in the middle of the shop on a bench you can get the Diamond Is Mine hunt gift ..a skin with wreckles and orange lipgloss ( autumn sphere in my opinion but good to have in inventory )

Nic was sitting at home thinking about what to do. Then she got an invitation to skate from tjip. She put on her warm norwegian sweater and went to the skatingplace. First they had a good talk sitting there and then put on their new skates from Alb Dream Fashion. And offf they did go swirling around. It was super.

Because it is nice to show male clothings too here, i am proud to prove, that a male avatar can have a great look for free.

This is a special post because of the red jacket i found in sl and the book that i just read in rl. The background shows the cover of the book from Jenna Blum. You see a girl holding the hand of her mother. The title of the book is : "Those who save us".

This is what the writer asked her mom when they visited the concentration camp Buchenwald near Weimar.

She asked her, “If you’d been living in Germany during the war, what would you have done?”

She was silent for a moment, smoking, contemplating. Then she said, “I don’t know what I would have done. I’d like to think I would have been brave enough to help my Jewish friends, my neighbors. Anna dwelled in my head for the next ten years, softly but insistently demanding that her story, that of the average German woman, be told.

Well that is where the book is about. I highly recommend this book. The girl in the red coat is the daughter of Anna. The red coat plays a role in the book.

So when i found this coat in sl my brains made a connection to the bookcover and the book.

My favorites at the moment are these winter outfits. The taupe combination is from the outlet of Fishy Strawberry. The armwarmers and scarf ( in green and red) are from the adventcalender from Malt ( nr.4) The grey outfit is from Pixxis at the designer circle , so not very expensive. Vest pants, shirt, and boots all are included. For warm feet i wear extra socks from Jane. The thick knitted scarf is from Prim & Pixel. I love that colour so much. I get a sort of stendhal syndrom: that is a psychosomatic illness that causes rapid heartbeat, dizziness, fainting, confusion and even hallucinations when an individual is exposed to art, usually when the art is particularly beautiful or a large amount of art is in a single place. Stendhal, an author, did get this in my beloved city Firenze ( Florence). Well i get this ( little bit exaggerated ofcourse) because at the moment there is so much beautiful free stuff in sl from hunts and advents calenders, groupgifts etc etc. The month december is killing us freebiehunters isn't it?

This splendid colour winter set is from Anabelle Biedermann...All is included..pants, boots, shirt, scarf, mufflers, and the super cute cap with hair. I think it is little bit like the argrace stuff, but the colours are super... and the prize for all is SOOOOO worth paying for ..just 50ld...couldn't belief it.

The place where you can get this is at the Tiroler Alm.. the very cosy place from Josef Zapatero that i frequently visit to talk with friends. There is already a small christmas market.

Nic feels like Brigitte Bardot, a French former fashion model, actress, singer. She was one of the best-known sex-symbols of the 1960s. Brigitte weared up-do hairs like the ladonna hair from the freeball from Analog dog. There are 3 new hairstyles in the freeball at the beach.

The brown retro outfit fits the Bardot style in my opinoin, although she weared soft pink and soft blue checkered clothings. Search a diamond to get it.

Couldn't belief my ears... yesterday Dancer Nitely told me: "the shop owner and designer of SG fashion wanted stop or leave sl..but she didn't, she stayed in sl and now sells all her clothings for 10ld".

I knew the shop from some years ago. I waited there hours to get some nice stuff from her lucky chair under the stairs.

So i went there to check ..and i was so exited..realy everything is 10ld... I bought the warm brown jacket with the fluffy sides..and the warm knitted sweater with the sweet collar. And the jeans with little bit open front so you can see the lace thongs (colorable).

Behind Nic on the pictures is a gown ( also 10ld) It is there in black and white. And there is more.. more... more.. Just have a look.

Today is the first day of the Kawai Hunt. This hunt is inspired by all objects nice and tender. In short, all those things that make it beautiful. The Burberry bags and shawl are self-made. I don't tell anyone how i created them. But my friend Soraya knows. She was so exited when i learned it to her, because she looooooves Burberry stuff. Cleaning inventory i found the notecard from the Designer Circle. It is Halftime @ 17th Collection of the .:: Designer Circle ::. . This Collection is available to 26. November 2011. They offer Designer Fashion & Accessories for discounted Prices between 50 and 100 L$. Some Designers have a Freebie or Dollarbie for you. Well i was thrilled when i saw a picture of the boots from E-Clipse Design. The little leatherbag was a gift there from Loordes of London.

Then came news from Fishy Strawberry about the nice leather jacket for the dressing room. You need not go to the Dressing room, the jacket is in the main shop.

I was wearing the jeans dress from Gabriel (now discount). It is one of those items that i like to wear often. It combined very well with the new found items.

Oh i love this hair and cosy poncho.

I can call myself Bukka girl, because the poncho , the boots and the bag are all gifts from Bukka. Boots and poncho from lucky board and the bag is the subscribe-o-matic gift. The boots i showed before, but now i show you the version with the socks..pay attention to the details, the texture of the socks and the buttons there!

With the two close-ups you can see both sides of the hair and i hope you can see the freckles, eyelashes and blush. Click on the picture to enlarge. Many places in sl slowly change in winter themed places as you can see also on these pictures. The new dress has long sleeves so not too cold. The kiss on the world famous picture behind Nic and tjip (as man) is from Alfred Eisenstadt taken at Times Square at 14 august 1945, the day of the capitulation of Japan.

Since november 11th 2011 the Vintage Fair 2011 is open. Here you can see the map with the slurls to the event. BUT OH MY GOODNESS....... I COULDN'T MOVE THERE AT ALL! You see Nic's disappointment on the pictures?

It was just tantalizing... all those nice clothings in vintage style and i couldn't reach them... because of my disappointment and pure annoyance i made this post. For all those who can't move or constantly walk and walk at the same place at the landings point, here a sweet vintage tshirt from Baby Monkey ( groupgift) the leaf earrings are also a groupgift there.

First i wanted to go totally over the top with all rainbow things from my inventory... i discovered i had so much... but then i thought, no... better make a post in my style and i took this soft rainbow style..Also with a free item in it..the Hucci dress ( subscribe -o-matic gift). The colour of the dress fitted good with the colours of the fairy wings from my inventory.. The hairs i wanted to make fairy like .. so a wreath with colourful flowers and leaves i took from my inventory. And the goldish hair of Curious Kitties makes it all very sweet. Oh... enlarge the first picture (click on it) ..then you can see my rainbow eyelashes and eyes.

Nic is ready to go. And nearly all is new and free! Dress, skin, hair, bag. The wardrobe behind her is certainly not hers. This wardrobe is in high contrast with Nic's inventory. Don't dare to say how many items are in it, although she cleans up time after time, it doesn't help. The amount of stuff is growing and growing. And like may women she sighs: "don't know what to wear" or "can't live without that beautiful outfit, that i want buy!" Isn't it, Soraya ;), isn't it, dear shopaholics?

The hair is a dollarbie and there also is another hairstyle in the package. And you can recolour it in all colours with a hud!!!super!
